Thank you so much, Amy, for the update and, Saundra, for going to see Jim's family and for sending in a report. Praise God! Jim is out of surgery and it all went well.

Now, I pray this will be the beginning of healing for him.

I am so glad he came through it “OK”.

That is step one in the process....now to continue the wishes for a speedy recovery from this event.

Thanks for the ping. I’ve been praying throughout the day. I missed the earlier update that his surgery had been postponed to 2:00. That was one of the times that I was praying though. I guess he’ll be needing the extra guardian angels (including mine) for a bit longer.

I hope JR knows how many people truly care, and how loved he is.

I’ve been checking every few minutes too, and this news has me in tears! Now to wait to hear what the doctors say and —— then begins the recovery. But it is so good to know that his inner strength came thru for the surgical part. Sheila nd the family must be so relieved!

Don’t stop the prayers. Post-operative complications can be serious, especially when other medical conditions are present.

This is great news so far, but this isn’t the checkered flag waving yet. The next week is just as important as this surgery.

Still, you can’t help but be encouraged.
