Thank you, Mrs. N, for preparing the Canteen for today’s activities.

DC Metroland weather report

~ Today....Sunshine and a few afternoon clouds. High 79F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph.

~ Tonight....Cloudy skies this evening. A few showers developing late. Low 59F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 30%.

I peeked at the Farmers Almanac and see that June is going to be as rainy as April and May here on the east coast.

As I get ready to reveal my results of the quiz.....I ask you to remember one thing - No matter what the quiz says, I'm a cool cat

Actually I took the quiz a few times - changing a choice or two here and there to see how much the results changed. I will admit that at least two of them came out the same which is the one I posted here, which I admit is pretty close:

Yup, we’ll have another day of sunshine and no rain. But, it’s coming.

I said on my morning post that the Almanac sez the east coast is going to have a wet May and June. Looks like we’ll have to plan all summer activities in between rain days. LOL

We’re going to try to get the grass cut before this next batch of rain. We’re hoping two days will be enough time to dry the ground some.

Now that you’ve done all the house cleaning and gardening, what will you do today?

I hope your schedule is settling down for you. :) I read what you posted about the almanac. It makes me a bit nervous because I have a party set up for end of June for a 50th wedding anniversary. You're coming up for it right. ;)

The lawn grows so fast this time of year doesn't it. Yesterday was Mom's garden. Today is laundry, shopping and hopefully some gardening here.

20th-23rd Heavy rains, then turning fair. 24th-27th Hot and dry, followed by thunderstorms, especially Maryland, Pennsylvania. 28th-30th Mostly fair and hot.

Last night we had a pretty good storm but the worst of it was not here..Since early this morning , we are getting heavy rain..I just plugged in my laptop..and now hear lots of thunder again..
