PHOENIX: A human smuggler who caused the death of 10 illegal immigrants when he crashed a sport utility vehicle while fleeing from U.S. Border Patrol agents has been sentenced to life in federal prison.

Among the 10 people who died was a 17-year-old pregnant woman and her unborn child.
Three of the 10 survivors testified against Pineda during his trial. He is from the southern Mexican state of

In any case, a fence would be cheaper, more humane and might actually accomplish something. But no, Menendez, and his co sponsors have to do some pandering instead of securing the country.

i am sure they will if they made it to the U.S. side of the border....kind of like with the cubans, if you make it to the U.S. shore line you can stay....if we catch you before land you have to go back and try again.....

To be sure, the perp was anything but human.
ALSO NOTE THAT THE HEADLINE SAYS 10 IMMIGRANTS AND NOT 10 ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS....
it does in the text however refer to them as illegals...
The sentence will probably be overturned at the state level. I can’t wait to see how the ACLU—or their fellow travelers on the bar—will rationalize the killings among a victim group they so often exploit for political gain.
Since this was a Federal court, no overturning at "state" level. They don't have jurisdiction here, neither originally, nor on appeal...

He really is just an emplyment agent for the corporate gobalists who would rather hire peons than Americans so they can pay cheap wages and no benefits.
Beats outsourcing to Red China I guess.
They should set up imigration checkpoints for the exiting of Gloria Estaphan’s new tour’s shows. They might just find a few. Though that might start an internet rumor and hurt ticket sales.
Every little effort has it’s own merits .......:o)
