He'll stab you in the *&$#$*&@# face.
El Salvadoran Cpl. Samuel Toloza is a total badass. He was part of a small Central American unit stationed in Najaf, Iraq that came under attack from Iraqi insurgents in May of this year. The small unit was caught off-guard and managed to put up a tough defense before running out of ammunition. With one man dead, twelve others wounded and no bullets left Toloza and his three remaining comrades desperately attempted to hold their position. When Iraqi rebels surrounded one of his wounded friends and tried to pull him off, Toloza freaked out ninja-style, whipped out his &^$#*&@!$ pocket knife and started stabbing the $#!% out of anyone that came near him. The Iraqis were totally unprepared for some %&$^!%# lunatic to start shivving them and were beaten back just as an Allied relief column arrived to secure the area.
You can't question the badassitude of this guy, seen here holding the bloody knife. It takes serious cojones to run at a bunch of gun-toting Iraqis armed only with a 3-inch blade and start stabbing faces. The U.S. was so impressed with how hardcore this dude was that they awarded him the Bronze Star for Bravery and the WCW Hardcore Title.
I miss Robert D’Aubbousin (Salvadoran president in the 1980s). His ad where he compared the opposition Christian Democrats to watermelons (”green on the outside, red on the inside”) while slicing an actual watermelon was classic, and should be used by any candidate with the stones to stand up to the environmental lobby.
Of course, with the media newsspeak switcheroo of the colors post-2000, many people would think the red stands for Conservative Republicanism. :-\
Actually he wasn’t President. He claims we fixed the election for his opponent.
Thanks. My memory has weakened over the years. He was head of the ARENA party, who was given the shaft over Jose Napoleon Duarte, who State supported as a “consensus” candidate, even though we had earlier provided financial support to D’Aubbousin in the Civil War.
