No wonder the Republican Party is having trouble raising money.

It's going to get worse.

What else is there to expect when all the GOP is doing every election cycle is removing salt from a wound and leaving the wound untreated?

No matter who gets in (Obama, Hillary, or McCain) we are gonna basically cripple ourselves with new regulations based on the farce that is global warming.

At least with McCain I *might* be able to cling to my guns and religion, but only if he doesn't give those up in a cross isle deal to allow in illegal aliens undocumented workers.

Only if you equate defending the Constitution with a coup. I’m only advocating what is in the oath that every US military officer takes.

McCain's bought airtime in Oregon for this ad, starting today.

According Rasmussen's recent poll, McCain is about 10% behind Obama in Oregon.

Dittos “the not too bright”, and raise you “he is too old”, it’s his last hurrah.

And to think I was considering crossing the aisle and voting for this dope. No more.

Well he's certainly proving he doesn't want my vote, and I might just oblige him and write in Fred Thompson. Seriously, we might as well forget about it this time around. This cap-in-trade/ global warming scam will completely destroy the economy and set our standard of living back decades. I'd rather the dems preside over the destruction of the country than somebody I helped to elect.

Time to focus on state and local races and regroup for next time around.

Oregon? McCain is low on money and he's buying ads in OREGON?!

From Rasmussen May 10: "The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone poll in Oregon shows Barack Obama leading John McCain 52% to 38%. That’s a significant improvement for Obama compared to a month ago when he led the presumptive Republican nominee by six percentage points. In three consecutive Oregon polls, McCain has never received more than 40% support when matched against Obama. In the current poll, McCain attracts just 68% support from Republican voters in the state."

McCain isn't going to win Oregon. He should save his money for swing states.

The fool is pandering to the left under the premises that he will get the conservative vote no matter what. If he continues like this, he will lose like no Republican has ever lost and we will truly be screwed by Obama as he kisses the ass of every socialist, America hating dictator and terrorist in the world.

I thought the same way for a while, however my trust has dissipated.

IF he had shown conservative conviction my trust would still be there however the only conviction I can see is his conviction to be elected.

McCain is an idiot. However, unless we want a crypto-Muzzie black nationalist leftist nutter in the WH, we have to vote for him. He will probably not serve out his term (recurrent melanoma, for one thing, and the increasingly bizarre behavior of early Alzheimer’s, for the other) so his choice of VP is very important.

But no matter who he picks, that person or even McPain himself would be better than Osama Obama.

Vote for conservatives in Congress to keep McCain in check. Think SCOTUS constructionist nominations, national security and defense, and limiting government spending. All of which McCain has promised as president.

I don’t really think he is calculating on getting many votes from the traditional base and is, instead, going to try to establish a new base (with liberal Republicans and the mushy middle)...

Not just a new base, with what he is doing he is shifting the base of ALL politics to the left forever just to get along and this will change the scale of conservatism/liberalism way to the left for good.

Is there a way that we can have him declared incompetent to even run for president?

I have to wonder...where is that money coming from? It's not coming from this conservative...and I'm probably not the only one keeping my wallet closed. Are the independents McCain is seeking sending him dough? Are the Reagan Democrats sending him lettuce? I guess it's up to those liberal Republicans who voted for him in the primaries to fill his coffers with green...

I bet he and the RNC are going to hurt for cash this summer...will that wake McCain up? I swear, I'm astonished at the personal struggle I've had this year, resigning/resolving/cajoling myself to vote for this loser, and each time I'm just about there he does something to royally tick me off. If the insidious threat of the Marxist Obama wasn't looming I would have written this election off ages ago.

Personally, I'm hoping McCain derails before the convention so a replacement can be nominated. I believe in miracles!

Sure. Get O'Reilly, Greta and Whoraldo talking about McCain's mental state on the same screen with Dr. Phil and watch the magic begin. It'll snowball from there.

Anymore all McCain has to say in a debate to keep out of trouble with the press, via scrutiny of his honesty, is just to retort with "Yeah, what Obama said so vote for me"!
