I find it impossible, yes IMPOSSIBLE to believe any person would make a decision as to his beliefs by hearing something from a child, whether dressed in a Penguin suit or not.

A story like this is floated for one simple reason, to outrage Conservatives and drive a wedge between him and them. It appears to work, at least here on FR because the anti McCain people are 100% willing to believe anyhting said about him from any source.

There is a pattern emerging of this sort of misinformation (possibly in this case). First the NYT tried it with a “possible” relationship he had with a lobbyist, then Huffington did the same by claiming she and 2 other provable liberals “heard” him say he didn't vote for Bush in 2000 or 2004. Now we have this. If there is a direct quote from McCain in which he claims this incident occurred AND it was the deciding factor in his decision re GW, then I will agree he is indeed suspect in more ways then I had imagined.

I wonder if he has any idea how dangerous that admitting to man made globull warming is. Once you set national policy as if it is true, then the envirowhackos will file lawsuits on literally EVERYTHING claiming that the threat of globull warming will cause habitat destruction of spotted wing snot fly and the narrow leaf sh*tweed. There will not be a single oil well drilled ANYWHERE inside the US. Nor will there be a single coal or natural gas fired power plant. And envirowhackos will dictate EVERYTHING that has even a remote link to CO2 emissions.

As far as it takes.

Three. Many EUropeans are openly hoping Obama will win and turn the USA into a facsimile of a EUropean state, and the Third World (especially moslem countries) is also backing him. Therefore a McCain win will really cheese them off. That’s something....isn’t it? /grasping for straws.

This country is in deep trouble. You keep hearing about the "big tent" party, yeah because it's a circus and clowns are trying to be bosses.

"The reason John McCain turned green is because he met a little boy in a penguin suit who spoke to him about global warming."

I believe it.

No two complete idiots are the same. Celebrate diversity.

Not to be an evil person but I have a question. Are there not enough American babies that need homes that you go outside your country and basically usurp immigration laws and bring in another immigrant? What does that say to the families that are sitting in the waiting line to get in. What does that say to American babies/children that grow up in an orphanage to be thinking adults and wonder why all these foreign babies are brought here instead of them being chosen? I understand that there is an enormous amount of paperwork but it seems in a simplistic way that you are basically being a coyote if you adopt outside our country.

Kudos to her for adopting a child but I am just questioning the logic behind the choice.

Kind if like why pro sports teams continue to go out of the country for talent when there are enough boys just as good or better here to play basketball and baseball why do we need to go to Japan, Dominican Republic, Balkans etc...

She's making it her listeners business since she talks about it incessantly. In my opinion Ms. Ingraham has her personal priorities screwed up and I make no apologies for that opinion.

Any person? Jimmy Carter and his adviser Amy come to mind.

I'm not saying McCain is that big a bonehead, but some folks are.

Then again, I'm not saying McCain ISN'T that big a bonehead either...

A guest on the show made this statement. Do you have a link to show us where McCain actually said it?

I believe people go outside the US to adopt because all the REGULATIONS of the US adoption “industry” make it almost impossible...plus, with abortions....there aren’t as many available babies...(But, then I could be wrong.)

Anti-Kudos to her for putting herself out there as a role model for single women adopting children. This is NOT a healthy trend.

“He is Obama, just a little older and he is white.”

No, McCain is much worse than Obama. McCain wants to:

1)Drill off of the Gulf of Mexico, which could kill fish.

2)Win the War in Iraq, which we don’t deserve to win because it will create more terrorists.

3)Reduce government spending, now where’s the hope in that?

4)Contain Iran, which Obama could do just by talking to Amanidijad.

5)Oppose unfair internet taxes, but since the Democratic Party invented the internet using Al Gore, they should dictate these taxes with President Obama.

6)Not elect Write/Sharpton approved nominees to the court, this may make Obama’s wife even more ashamed of her country.

/s

It seems like ALL the candidates, even the third party candidates, have jumped on the warmer nut wagon.

However, only McCain intends to win Iraq, rather than surrender.

There are thousands of groups, Christian and others, doing good work for children in the third world. Ingraham could have adopted one of these groups to contribute to and support with publicity. She wanted a child but didn’t want the hastle of a husband. At heart this is an act of selfishness, not charity.

I agree that it is not a good role model for the average single gal, but she has the resources so that the child will never want nor be neglected so in that respect it is good ( I guess ).
