REDLANDS FREEP #16 5/9/08 "Our Troops Are Heroes"

Posted on 05/11/2008 3:24:07 PM PDT by Victory Rocks

Welcome to FReep #16. It was Mary, Kelly, and me for this Friday's FReep.

As usual our side received more honks than what the moonbats could ever hope to get and we got many waves, thumbs up, and a few kind words from passing motorists.

The moonbats seemed a bit more tired and worn out today. While most of their group usually shows up between 4:30 to 4:45 there were only a handful of them from 4:20 to about 5:15. The rest of the old hippies finally straggled in at about 5:20. One of the moonbats brought his little boy, who wasn't the least bit interested in just standing and holding his sign. The child would occasionally toss the sign up and kick at it, with his dad seeming none to pleased. I don't know about you but bringing a kid to an anti war protest and forcing him or her to inhale the foul smells that hippies produce would seem like a form of child abuse.

The first of our two main highlights for this evening was when a lady driving around our corner rolled down her window and said "Thanks for supporting the troops". The next one was when a young man who talked to me about his Marine cousin serving in Iraq during a previous FReep stopped by again and shared more about his cousin. His cousin has recently returned after being injured from a roadside bomb and was recovering in the VA hospital in Loma Linda. I told him to tell his cousin thanks for his service and that I would be praying for him. The young man thanked us and left. Kelly, Mary, and I enjoyed this day and are glad that folks are encouraged and lifted up by us being there.

Here are my pics for this Friday. I hope you enjoy them.

ABOVE. The moonbats of Citizens Action For Peace. Surrender is what these losers live for.

ABOVE. Moonbat close up. Notice the little kid with the sign. It should say "I have no dimes because liberals tax and spend them all".

ABOVE. Another moonbat close up.

Like most of our FReeps we have a good time and if any Inland Empire FReepers and Lurkers would like to come out and join us we meet at 4:30 PM on the Northeast corner of Redlands Blvd. and Orange St. in Redlands Ca.

Our rules are no violence, racism, sexism, or profanity. Respect and obey all laws and law enforcement. We do welcome good hearted verbal engagement though.

Intersection of Orange St and Redlands Blvd, Redlands CA

Beautiful posters being held by beautiful people on ONE side of the street. Practically illiterate idiots on the other side!
You all are very inspiring!

I see you have a rare "American flag" moonbat sighting where they actually have an undesecrated American flag on a banner and not draped over a cardboard coffin.

I'll bet some moderate moonbats have that because you are there and I also estimate it irritates the "World Can't Wait" far-left part of the crowd no end to have it in their midst.

It's like your flag has migrated over and infected the moonbats with a bit of patriotism!
