"Quite frankly African Americans articulate and use language differently than whites by juxtaposing words to paint indelible psychological pictures."
Oh, I get it....wright wasn't saying "G D America!" when he was saying G D America!...he was really saying "America..GD!" That makes so much more sense...

Quite frankly African Americans articulate and use language differently than whites by juxtaposing words to paint indelible psychological pictures. No doubt because they're right-brained and can't learn the same way as left-brained white people. /sarc

So he’s saying that sermons by these preachers are the equivalent of using heavy psychopharmacological substances? Like a bad acid trip?
Maybe we can get the DEA involved. . .

has been vilified in the national media for practicing the great commission As a Christian I am offended by this out and out lie. He was not vilified for practicing the Great Commission, he was vilified for the distinct lack there of. I rebuke you Bishop and Wright as called for by the true Great Commission.
I rebuke you for spreading lies and telling tall tales,
I rebuke you for teaching victimology where no victimhood truly exists,
I rebuke your divisiveness of the American community,
and lastly I rebuke you for failing to teach your followers how to fish for their own livelihoods and to be fishermen of men's souls to God.

He’s loathesome, just another Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson. Snake oil salesmen preaching hate, bigotry, and worse. Living in a million dollar mansion paid for by his congregation, many of whom are single mothers who work two and three jobs and raise children and grandchildren without benefit of a father in the home. There’s so much wrong with Wright, so much wrong with Obama, and this upcoming election is dead serious. Obama is the emperor with no clothes, already ‘offended’ at anything McCain says. (These next few months are going to be a rough ride, so tighten your seat belts.)

sensationalizing Rev. Wrights words out of context OK, Mr. Preacher... give us the context that any of those soundbites could be put in to make it more acceptable to people like us Freepers.

it is doubtful that the United Church of Christ, a white denomination, would have appointed him to pastor one of its churchesThe UCC doesn't appoint pastors, and anyone who was formed in it and knows it as well as I do will have NO DOUBT that IF they appointed them, Jeremiah Wright would have been their #1 choice.

The charges of racism against Rev. Wright are false, as it is doubtful that the United Church of Christ, a white denomination, would have appointed him to pastor one of its churches. For African American clergy, controversy is to be expected as we preach a liberation theology that condemns any effort to persecute human beings.
(a) Christian Churches often get into controversy. Regardless of the race of the pastor.
(b) We do not tolerate lies in our sermons.
(c) Hate is not part of Christianity.
(d) Racism is not Christian, either.
(d)What I have heard from Wright and other liberation theology teachings promotes the antithesis of liberation. It promotes a victim mentality, which leads to enslavement.

for practicing the great commission to go ye preach and baptize in my name. In this case, that "name" is a false image conjured up by this sick bastard.

Guess he did not watch the 'Reverend' do his spiel on National Press Club invite. . .or. . . .they are TOTALLY unfamiliar with Black Liberation Theology OR. . .they live under a rock in an
alternate universe, that just happens to look a lot like ours.
Hellllooooo! (Alternate) Bishop William P. DeVeaux (et al. . .) are you there, here or otherwise?
