WASHINGTON - Former CIA operative Valerie Plame is trying to resurrect a lawsuit against those in the Bush administration she says illegally disclosed her identity.
A federal judge dismissed Plame's lawsuit last year, saying there was no basis to bring a case. Plame's lawyers asked a federal appeals court Friday to send the case back before the judge and force him to consider its merits.
Plame and her husband, former Ambassador Joseph Wilson, sued Vice President Dick Cheney; his former chief of staff, I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby; former White House political adviser Karl Rove and former Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage.

No doubt she’ll find a judge somewhere...
I don’t think its possible to sue an official when acting when acting in official capacity.
Please do, Val ... and be taunted a second time.
Since the Administration cannot play hardball, they will probably meekly apologize instead of hammering these frauds with the truth. The media is at war with this Administrration, and the response is to curry favor with the Media.
The next book must have a publication date on the calendar.
“Plame’s lawyers asked a federal appeals court Friday to send the case back before the judge and force him to consider its merits.”
Consider its merits? That’ll take about 5 seconds.
Wasn’t there an internal DoD memo (the declassification of which the traitors fought tooth and nail) brought to light during the Scooter Libby trial that basically disproved Joe Wilson’s entire story? Why does the press still enable these clowns?
I’m not an Attorney and I’m no fan of Joe Wilson’s - but in my opinion - when you look specifically at the fact that a C.I.A. Agent’s name was published against the Agent’s knowledge or will, I think that Agent has every reason to be bring a suit. Take the “politics” out of this issue, and I think the case has merit.
I also think this letter is a good one. (many of the signees were GW supporters).

Just to re-hash what everyone already knows, Novak called CIA and asked if she worked there. They said, yes.
If the CIA gives you up over the phone to someone calling in who would just like to know... then baby, you are not covert.
Your statement proves that you are not an Attorney.
The merit which is incumbent on them to prove is that Plame was a COVERT CIA Agent and her undercover status was blown as a result of her name being released. However, that point has already been disproven during the Libby trial. Just the fact that she is a CIA employee and her name was published with or without her permission is not a factor in this case. Does President Bush give his permission every time his name is published and does he have knowledge of it? Nope.
She misses being on the cover of Vanity Fair. Nothing more. Nothing less.
If you have evidence that she is, was or was ever an "agent" as so described, please publish it here for our examination.
OK?!
Kiss your arse goodbye, troll.
This is SO OVER - give it up!!!
I don't think he had time....
This is essentially becoming harrassment on the part of the Joe and Valery show. They have already profited big time on this charade and yet apparently they are not satified since the 15 min utes of fame has now subsided.
What they both need is a swift kick in the posterior or ambassatorial appointments to Burma.
