Thanks for the link — that looks like an excellent blog — we need more info on the Obama-Ayers background and their cesspool of the radical left in Chicago politics.
I was writing on another thread a few days ago about the Annenberg project and how suspicious it is that Obama and Ayers worked together on this big $50 million project (apparently all the money was pretty much squandered), yet Obambi pretends he barely knows who Ayers is..... and Obambi pretends that Ayers is a “Professor of English” when it is obvious they have known each other well at least back to 1995 and there is NO CHANCE Obambi does not know perfectly well what Ayers does in the field of education.
The obvious dishonesty of Obama on this matter, plus the fact that his campaign does not see fit to trumpet his Chairmanship of the Annenberg program (which would be one of the only things he has actually DONE in his life, if it had accomplished anything), suggests that Obama knows this background is toxic to his campaign. We need to get the details....
Personally, I don't support any of the items you mention. But then I'm a constitutional conservative, upholding the republic and the sovereignty of the American people. If George Bush is any kind of conservative, he evidently isn't of the constitutional kind. Social conservative, yes; economic conservative, no; small government conservative, no.
I only hope he will settle Teheran's hash before he leaves office. But he's gone all squishy on prosecuting the war it seems, so we'll have to see about that. (The mullahs have got him figured exactly right it turns out.) Plus the way he and Condi Rice are handling the Israel/Palestinian peace issue is simply a fantastic pipe dream.... You can't get anything done over there without chopping off the head of the snake, which is in Iran.
Sigh. It's a mess. America is desperate for leadership right now; and frankly, I don't see where it's going to come from.

Bush obviously wants to turn Israel into a Palestinian state and ignorant FReepers continually deny it. His mutterings about Islam being the Religion of Peace is something I would expect from someone high on drugs. Muslims see us Christians as infidels. Bush doesn’t appear to be aware that America was founded on Christian beliefs. He can hold hands all he wants with the Saudia Arabian mullahs but it won’t convince me that he is a statesman worthy of the position he holds.

I've begun to doubt that Mr. Bush has a reasonable grasp of reality. If he supposes that the Saudis are our "friends" and "allies," he'd have to be nutz. They are a major part of the cartel that is deliberately driving up the oil price, to squeeze America in a time of war, and to enrich their coffers so they can continue to export Wahhabism to the rest of the world. All this at a time when Hezbollah is taking over Lebanon at gun point, Hamas is trying to destroy Israel, and Iran is fighting a proxy war against us in Iraq. Yeah, they're our "buddies," all right.
It is said that the Arab world is split along Sunni and Shia lines, and also along the Arab/Persian divide. We are told that Arab states like Saudi Arabia and Egypt are concerned about Iranian irredentism. But it sure looks to me that all these states work together very well when it suits them. And evidently it suits them when their object is to weaken America.
Sometimes I think that George Bush just wants the rest of the world "to love us," so he bends over to accommodate states who don't. Check out the massive foreign aid to our so-called "allies" over there....
As for me, I don't care a whit whether the rest of the world loves us or not. I'd prefer to have them respect us, even to fear us. There's no point in selling out American interests to our enemies. I just wish George Bush, and the Arabists at the State Department, understood that and acted accordingly.

Michelle LaVaughn Robinson Obama’s resentments toward her country and its citizens were undoubtedly nourished by the effect that her set-aside affirmative action appointment to Princeton had on her. There is credible info that could lead one to believe that his Indonesian stepfather to him to Mosque with the intent of making him Muslim. His own campaign said in a LA Time article that he was never a REGULARLY practicing Muslim, leading one to infer that he was an IRREGULARLY practicing Muslim.
