LITTLE ROCK - Its a happy Mothers Day for an Arkansas woman shes pregnant with her 18th child.
Michelle Duggar, 41, is due on New Years Day, and the latest addition will join seven sisters and 10 brothers. There are two sets of twins.
"Weve had three in January, three in December. Those two months are a busy time for us," she said, laughing.

They should have as many kids as they want.
I think it's great.
If other families had only the number of kids they could love and support, the world would be a better place.
Bless the Duggar Family!
Only if they are giving their little girls to old men to "marry".
LOL! Yes life is good!
Every year for the past 3 I’ve gone to the midwest homeschool conference.
I was in a big room for a session for fathers only, and the speaker asked for a show of hands of people that had 5 or more kids.
>80% of the room put their hands up.
I broke into applause along with everyone else in the room.
I guess if the Duggars were poor and lived on Welfare and didn’t attend services or homeschool their children they would be a scourge on our nation.
I admire them for the intent and purpose but something is lacking in that family. There is little time for individual love and expression. The children appear to be bot-like, dressing in uniformity, lining up to do almost everything - no spontenaity unless they fall and hurt themselves. What kind of childhood is this?
Once a child is weaned it is turned over to an elder child to be its mentor.
I wonder if they have to make an appointment to be hugged by mom or dad.
There is serious lacking in the parental interaction and I am not being critical but stating fact.
I would rather see a family of three or less children loved, hugged daily, chased and played out at the end of the day, all muddy, thrown into a bath or shower and towelled dry with more hugs and laughter.... and a personal story at night before lights out....
So much for building our nation. It’s the quality not quantity in family life. The Duggars are plastic machines.
Someone the other day expressed my dilemma on having a large family -
if I didn’t have to support so many illegitimate kids, I’d have more of my own.
The Duggars just don’t stop do they?
My nephew has four (the last one and only girl so far is named after me!!)
When people slam him for SO many kids he tells them that kids are like Pokemon cards. They want to collect them all!
>>There is little time for individual love and expression<<
You have never actually dealt with a large family, have you?
>>The Duggars just dont stop do they?<<
And they should because......?
How sad for you.
I love their family.
Apparently, you know nothing about this family.
Me too.
And actually, I’m envious of them.
My hubby wanted six. God gave me two. Oh well.
They are married, support their childen and all seem happy and healthy, so more power to them. I wouldn’t want to do it but if they want to and can I sure have no issue with it.
Thank you...my sister has 5. She has comments made about every day. Her husband is no good and she’s raising them alone. That entire house runs like a well oiled machine. The older kids help with the younger kids. She has 3 teens and has yet to have one serious problem. When you walk into her house it’s like being enveloped into a huge cacoon of love. It’s the most happy place on earth. She changed my mind about big families.
Adopt.
It’s a heck of a lot more important to pass on your VALUES than your GENES.
Leftist/pro-aborts have defined pregnancy as an illness.
