I'm guessing they get by on money from the TV shows & some corporate freebies.
Anyone know how they were able to pay for the huge house? I've always guessed they paid very little, if anything, for its construction.
totally - have you never seen them on TV?
Totally supportive, physically, emotionally and financially = they built a huge house - videos on web site -

Children are well rounded, well cared for, - more children should be as fortunate
...and this is your concern, why? What is it our business how this Christian family brings up their kids?
Perhaps I see it from a different point of view or perhaps the fact that people are different when a camera is running
Perhaps you see what you want to see. It's no-one's business. The children are healthy, and raised by parents who love them and each other.
What a family!
Wow, what an ignorant post. If that is illustrative of your typical thought process then your screen name is very appropos.
Thanks!!! I do, too. I wish that there were more men willing to take on a traditional father role. OTOH, I think that society has so blurred the roles of fathers that I almost dont blame them.
Not unless he starts marrying and reproducing with his daughters. I think they are safe.
How OLD are you? And answer someone elses question....did you have a large family? You’re sounding silly.
It’s a tough road and it takes CONSTANT and diligent self discipline but the rewards are infinite. She also goes to school and works. Actually my sister is my hero. I only had 2 kids and somedays they seemed like 20 : )
My mom started to buy a trip to South Carolina so my Dad could golf for two weeks in April!!!
I guess every April 15 when the taxes were filed, Dad said "Dang, we need to have another kid for that tax exemption"?
Have you thought about signing up for foster care? The children would be medically covered under the system and you would get a living wage for caring for the children. Sometimes, you get offered the chance to adopt the child you have cared for.
That’s a great idea!
We make them blankets but it’s kind of a rough neighborhood for my girls. They don’t recommend we go personally.
But who knows!
“Not unless he starts marrying and reproducing with his daughters. I think they are safe. “
None of the FLDS have been accused of that. Now there’s that guy over in Austria but I’m not sure what his religion is — I’ve heard rumors on the net but...
I want that house!
It’s every kid’s dream!
I don’t know, they look pretty happy. I’m not seeing the Von Trapp family before Maria arrived.
I would love to live next door to them!
No, but his situation is probably further removed from the polygamy and pedophila of the FLDS compound than my comment was. It was an example of what Rush calls illustrating an absurdity with another absurdity.
We’re lucky, then. Ours is in just a slightly rougher neighborhood than the surrounding suburbia.
We’ll remember you to the Big Guy next time we talk.
My hubby says no to foster care.
Both of us are afraid to get attached.
We could probably take on older children, but not babies.
Thank you so much!!!!!
