I listened to his programs at various times over a 20 year + period. He said he had been a teacher at one itme. I knew he had attended seminary in Berkeley. But I never heard him say explicitly he was ordained. That was a surprise to me when this story started to develop.

The judge agreed to hold off on accepting Ward's plea until his sentencing in August. That's so Ward can attend his son's high school graduation.
