Looks like he is more interested in the illegal vote than mine.

If you look at my posts, it is clear that I hate McCain and won’t vote for him (please, no need to debate on that on THIS thread). But, I don’t see what is wrong with a candidate doing ads in Spanish. The fact is that there are millions of voters whose primary language is Spanish, and it is silly NOT to do ads that they can understand.

This is enough to(almost) keep me from voting for him.

Maybe he should just stop speaking English altogether.

"John McCain recognizes the role that Latino small businesses and entrepreneurs play in our country's economic success

Really. What about White small businesses, Black small businesses, Chinese, Jewish, Italian, Irish, etc. small businesses.

Whose side ya on, Juan? No, speak English, please.

Every time I think maybe he is better than Hillary or Obama, he reminds me he is just as bad.

John McCain can put his campaign ads in Ebonics..I don’t care, I will be voting for John McCain, because he is the ONLY one in the race who is an American Hero, who has been tested and proven , and who has served this country. John McCain supports our military, and I support John McCain because he is the best choice as Commander and Chief, and I want the best leader for our troops.

Pretty clear now that McCain has completely given up the conservative base. So he may as well carry on with his well known propensity for illegal alien ass kissing.

Nothing more for this fool to lose.

That is, other than the very considerable number of (I)s and (D)s who agree with conservatives on illegal alien issues.

The ad follows the Cinco de Mayo announcement of John McCain's participation in the La Raza Annual Convention in San Diego on July 14, 2008 and the release of John McCain's Spanish "Estamos Unidos" website, www.johnmccain/espanol.

Plain stupido. It would be one thing if the McCain campaign simply put out an ad directed to Americans whose primary language is Spanish; it's another thing altogether when one considers McCain's participation in a La Raza event--that isn't to brush aside McCain-Kennedy, either.

McCain is going a little mentally wobbly lately.. I’ve been watching him, along with other freepers. He forgets or misnames important geographical or cultural names and titles while stumping, and was a little slow on the uptake last night on the Daily Show.

I get the impression he’s starting to feel overwhelmed, as anybody his age racing all over the country would.

I’m not a hater but I think we could (still) do better.

What's wrong with the ad? Maybe in your imaginary world the GOP can ignore the Latino vote and still win, but in the real world, where Latinos are the fastest growing group in the country, ignoring them is idiotic.

Looks like smart politics to me. Anything, and I mean ANYTHING, that defeats B. Hussein Obama is a good thing. Obama and his vile wife would utterly destroy this nation. McCain is the only thing standing in his way. There is no time to whine and complain. We must defeat the Obamas.

Was Juan MeCain stereotyping all Mexican businessmen as being in lawn maintenance? ...that's the picture I saw.

Why doesn't MeCain just make a commercial that says "Bend over Conservatives!"

McCain’s appeal to hispanic businessmen is bad ... how?

“U.S. Senator John McCain’s presidential campaign today released a new Spanish-language ad, entitled “McCain, Plan Economico,” highlighting ways in which his economic plan will help small businesses flourish during these uncertain economic times.”

Sounds like a great economic plan.

I scanned all the threads. A man that sustains over five years of punishment and confinement is not going to be losing sleep over people who hate him because of his position on illegals.

As far as I am concerned, I hope he keeps his promises and views regardless of what the self-designated “real conservtives” on this thread have to say. Also irrespective of what I have to say or believe, I hope he always does what he believes to be right and this includes cooperating with the Democrats where indicated. A man of honor and principal acts on his core convictions not on someone else’s hate problem.

McCain has been kicked around by NVA professionals; some of amateur posters on this thread believe if they hate enough others will either agree or join them. Fat chance!

Not only is he the Republican candidate for President but even Rush Limbaugh denies that there is a way to deport the 12 million illegals. Expect a solution after the election regardless of who wins.

In the meantime I do not consider it meritorious, let alone mature, to spew personal insults upon a Silver Star recipient simply because you disagree with one or more of his positions. Actually, it is cowardly.

Latinos consitute a large sector of the population of the U. S.

In the 2004 election President Bush received some 31 percent of the Latino vote. But for that, John Kerry would be President today.

Half the teenage population of L. A. is Latino.

And the learned minds on this site, and thread, think it “stupido” (the correct Spanish is “estupido”) to appeal to Latinos through Spanish Language ads??
