I did read the post slowly, and I know who Larry Elder is [I've listened to him often on the radio].

This is what Larry Elder said:

Liberals have stifled black progress...

And my point is that guys like Larry Elder need to have the strength of character to consider the possibility that that assertion ought be replaced with this assertion:

Blacks have stifled black progress...

And until "they" [meaning black people themselves] have the strength of character to face the awful truth of the latter assertion, the situation just isn't going to change.
