The most amazing aspect of Obama versus Hillary, to me anyway, is how Democrat’s support is based on who can beat McCain, without regard to what their candidates stand for.

While Republicans lament McCain because of issues and positions, Democrats can only think of winning at any cost.

And it's really scary that a woman who has filed joint tax returns with gross income of over $100 million over those last seven years is complaining about the lack of opportunity.

If George S. was a little taller, he could reach up and GRAB those line-drives that seem to go over his head. Maybe that's why he does a TV show and doesn't play shortstop in the bigs

Great catch! She used so many little techniques, so fast in dealing with Stephy it was truly hard to keep up.

Democrat Playbook:

Promise anything. Once elected it’s too late and they can say they wanted to do it but cannot now because matters are worse than thought, or those evil Republicans won’t let them.

Okay, over 200 posts, and nobody has commented that the Factor interview was the best working relationship between Bill and Hilary ever captured on camera?

Oh, wait a minute; wrong Bill.

MCCAIN: What I mean by that is that it's cap-and-trade, that there will be incentives for people to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. It's a free-market approach.

Yeah, complete with government mandates.

It used to be that the government regulations would distort only a single market, so that only a single industry would be screwed up.

McCain, however, is proposing to distort an entire economy.

If production and sales of an item are mandated by government, then the profits from that production are mandated as well.

This is no "free market approach"...

I think what Hillary just introduced with Stephy could be called throw the kitchen sink at them and then let them try and attack everything at once.

It's slick as they always are. She literally threw out so much that it is difficult to deal with everything. It has to be done in little bits, but I am sure Rush is up to it and if it takes all week... well that's OK.

The "good old days" of mutually assured destruction with the godless commies were a lot easier. Athiests believe that when you die you cease to exist, which make them much more focused on what is immediately in front of them than people who believe that you get 72 virgins in paradise when you die fighting the infidels.

It gets even worse if you are dealing with someone who believes that the Magic Iman will jump out of a well once the nukes go off.

Actually heart problems are not a good one to compare with our NHS and private system because that is one area which they do act really quickly the area that worries me more is cancer.

If it is an actual lump in the breast and you are a 30 something female very quickly but if you have internal bleeding and are not forceful then often they will say IBS and put you on waiting list for further investigation.

With heart problems you can usually get a ECG the same day and a stress test later in the week maybe heart problems are easier to diagnose and less costly not sure or maybe they are more high profile and people expect them to be treated immediately whereas a few extra cancer deaths is only to be expected but with the advance of modern medicine heart problems are expected to be treated and successfully treated.

That's the issue where she told Stephy that we know so much more about it(nafta) now than we did than. Which is clintonista code for yeah we sure did blow that one.

See my #221

McCain will only win because he’s the lesser of three evils, not because he’s a good candidate. Hopefully, McCain will choose a VP who has some sense and experience in economics to help him screw his head back on straight.

Barack Obama .. a good example of how a person to utter many words and yet not say anything at all.

asked about energy and ethanol and food supplies .. “We are the Saudi Arabia of coal... We need to look at nuclear.”

The democrats are truly the party of inaction and obstruction.

just imagine what we would pay at the pump and in our homes if we had 8 nmore years of dem obstructionism and their energy vision thingy.

Obama,, have you been to Iraq or Afghanistan lately?

Sad that this country allowed itself to descend to the depths of the displays of incompetence and ignorance we are witnessing by so many that seek to lead this nation, but not surprising.

Iran is deterable because it’s a state, according to Hillary. This, she maintains, can be done by just talking to them, exactly what the Euros have been doing for years and years to no avail. But Hillary will find out who is really pushing the buttons in Iran and then all will be well.

al-Qaida on the other hand is something else, so they can’t be deterred, I guess.

She really makes no sense at all.

Brilliant stuff here Shrinkermd!

It is often difficult if not impossible to debate issues with brainwashed folks who insist on voting with an emotional base.

Hill/Bill recognize this like no others and Bubba is a master at it. Lucky for us Hillary is disliked/hated(although she seems to have overcome some of that lately, maybe getting better with more practice) and bama is a newcomer to the game.

We still may have a shot with a charismatic challenged McCain.

Another crazy comment on our NHS system. If you are rushed in hospital because you collapse suddenly all the tests that you would have had to wait months for are available.

MRI and CT scans, endoscopes and such like that would have taken months to sort are available if not within hours certainly within a couple of days and in the meantime other tests are carried out.

I have even known people fake a collapse so that they in effect queue jump and get action done. I am convinced of that with my dad's friend Bernie unfortunately for him as such there was not much treatment available as his kind of heart problems are not the conventional ones that can by treated by bypass or stents only really some form of medication but at least it did cause they to get this sorted whereas before it was trial and error because conventional heart treatment was not the answer.
