FORT WORTH, Texas An Arlington woman who caused her lover's shooting death by falsely crying rape was found guilty Friday of involuntary manslaughter.
Tracy Denise Roberson, 37, cried slightly when the verdict was announced after jurors had deliberated for more than a day. The punishment phase was set for Monday, and she faces two to 20 years in prison.
In late 2006, Darrell Roberson came home from a late-night card game to find his scantily clad wife with another man in a pickup truck in the driveway. Tracy Roberson was with her lover but cried rape, and her husband fired four shots into the truck as Devin LaSalle was driving off, killing him.
Darrell Roberson initially was arrested, but the murder charge later was dropped and a grand jury indicted Tracy Roberson instead.
During her three-day trial, defense attorneys called no witnesses but blamed LaSalle's death on Darrell Roberson's jealousy and rage.

Have you seen her picture; she did not even need a trial GUILTY!
That form of trial is primarily for naughty teachers.
She’ll fit right in at Mountain View.
She’s so ugly that when two men broke into her apartment and she yelled “rape” they yelled “Noooooo!” - Rodney Dangerfield
There’s a face that could make a freight train take a dirt road.
Maybe it’s the vodka, but that made me LOL!
I totally cannot stand this wimp-ass double standard system of justice that lets killers off because they have breasts and a uterus. It just literally sickens me. And I think a lot of honest women are sick of it too. It paints the good ones a bad color.
The double standard goes all the way down. There’s turtles below those turtles.
Unlikely.
1. This is Texas. We have lots of empty jail cells.
2. The husband is still alive, so the “for the chillun” get-out-of-jail card won’t work.
3. In Texas, we *execute* murderers. We don’t very much care what their gender is. Just ask Karla Faye Tucker, Betty Lou Beets or Frances Elaine Newton. Oh, wait, you can’t. We executed them. Those we don’t execute don’t get probation, no matter what the gender.
The husband would have been better to shoot her once. Now he’s gotta shoot a different guy every week.
I love Texas.
Sounds good. I don’t think she’ll get half of what a man would get still. It’s a solid bet IMO.
And another thing... nice crop of hair "sweetie."
As a wild guess, I predict she will get 10 + 10 probation/parole or 15 no parole. (Remember - found guilty, not sentenced yet.)
Oh, did I mention that our judges are actually elected officials in Texas? :D
Yep.
