There is a movement on the horizon that has the potential to change the educational system in America and influence your kids, you and the youth you serve. For decades now, Neo-Darwinism has maintained a stranglehold within public education, suppressing all other theories on the origins of lifeespecially those that hint of a "designer".

Good movie.
I especially liked it when the morbid Hawkins, admitted “Intelligence Design” and it was NOT in the context of humoring Ben Stein. The godless one and admitted atheist slipped up.

The obvious question to Mr Hawking. Did your wheelchair evolve or was it designed?

Saw this yesterday. It's mixed -- it seems good on the issue of the degree of suppression of "wrongthink" (which is happening in more arenas than just the one targeted in this program), but I didn't particularly like its use of images to make various points.
I've been pondering his diversion into "Darwinism is a necessary though not complete pre-requisite" for the Holocaust.
Was very surprised when my wife remarked that she personally knew a couple of the folks interviewed (here in the Seattle area) and said they were good folk.
And slightly surprised to see a coffee shop and street scenes just a few blocks from the theater in Redmond where we watched this.
And a bit amused to see [name forgotten] actually arguing that "intelligent design" (by *something*) might be involved...

The obvious question to Mr Hawking. Did your wheelchair evolve or was it designed? I think you've mixed up Hawkins(? Dawkins?) and Hawking.
And wheelchair designs have evolved.

I'm sure the world renowned Hawkins, Dawkins, whatever would have a answer for that. It matters not that we are not evolving. In their minds everything “evolves”.

Perhaps, the move would have been better if Stein had not lied about Sternberg being fired from the Smithsonian.
And the movie would have been whole lot better if Ben Stein was not a donor to the Al Frankin for U.S. Senate Campaign.

“And wheelchair designs have evolved. “
neat play on words but the meaning of your evolved is quite different then the meaning of evolution. Unless of course wheelchairs can reproduce on their own.
People have learned things and can design better wheelchairs but wheelchairs do not evolve.

Could you give us a link for that?

I would like some information about Sternberg and Ben Stein being a donor to Al Frankin for U.S. Senate Campaign.

It is hard to resist the impression that the present structure of the universe, apparently so sensitive to minor alterations in numbers, has been carefully laid out.
The seemingly miraculous concurrence of these numerical values must remain the most compelling evidence for cosmic design.

neat play on words but the meaning of your evolved is quite different then than
the meaning of evolution. Geez. Does one have to put a smiley or / sarc tag on every such statement on FR today? Our lowest common denominator seems to be in free fall.
