Good morning barker, nice to see you are still around :-)
Not much happened up here in the evening hours but we did get some wind and a weee bit of rain around 2am. I had 9/10s of an inch in my rain gauge Friday morning.

Conference today? Next week? I am at the conference right now. We are thinking of conducting a Global Warming Symposium on the beach this afternoon. There are no float planes here, obviously.

Don't let the looks fool ya, this kid is the coolest unsigned Cat on YouTube...
His original stuff is so unbelievable that just this week he was rated #1 on the Tube in music and is fast making it as number one for the month starting just his second week
Ronald Jenkees - Jammin MP3 Here
This is unreleased, so I ripped it best I could
CLEAN non-objectionable material even for kids... but highly addictive... cause this kid jams out on the keyboards...
Here is the link to his Youtube video
http://youtube.com/watch?v=lg8LfoyDFUM
I liked a couple of his previous stuff, bought his e-downloads at his web site at ronaldjenkees.com... his latest 3 songs are due out end of summer, definately will be getting a couple of them too. He is progressing at light speed with his talent... this is one cat worth keeping an eye on.

Thank you so much for your amazing work, Drumbo. It is truly appreciated.

I'm really happy you could join us bannie, I was starting to worry that you would be on vacation this week or away on a pilgrimage to the Dr. Hook Moustache Museum or something. Say FReepregards to your son for me, the dedication is as much for him as you, since it seems you nursed him on Ray Sawyer and Shel Silverstein as a child.
I've always enjoyed discussing the band and sharing memories with you. Ray and Dennis were crazy men who always made everyone laugh until our sides would hurt. Did I ever tell you about the time we opened for them and they came onstage during our set dressed as us in full Klown make-up? Ray was so funny as a one-eyed Drumbo that I fell out laughing and he took over on the drum kit. That was long before they were famous, and they had little-more than a cult following, but everyone who saw them knew that someday they would make a mark.
They were a one-of-a-kind act that were forerunners to my pal's Weird Al and "Bermuda" Jon Schwartz who mentions them often as mentors and trailblazers. Berm provided many of the rarer selections to fill out this juke for you - including the unreleased cut I FReepmailed you that's a bit too risque, even for the Canteen - so special thanks Bermey - Sempre Fi).
Songs like "More Like The Movies", "Sharing The Night", "I'll Put Angels Around You", "If Not You", "That Didn't Hurt Too Bad", "Years From Now", "I Can't Touch The Sun" and "Loveline" are some of the loveliest love songs ever recorded imho - so sweet, they often border on parody, but that was the beauty of this wonderful band. Those songs are among my favorites.
