And incidentally, I dont think its tough to turn your back on hard jobs, and become a so-called community organizer. I dont even know what a community organizer is. My own community manages to do without community organizers. I think its a rubbish profession, and it wouldnt make any difference if they all went away tomorrow. I like Mark Steyn best not when he's making hilarious puns or brilliant pop culture references but rather when he just speaks the plain truth that is right in the forefront of an issue but has somehow gone unremarked upon.

Obama is now the candidate of the insane leftThey are not insane. They are just typical ordinary commies and communist sympathizers.

I dont even know what a community organizer is.
according to MO, they help the single mother find her voice, teach people to petition and advocate for clean environments, safer streets and better schools. They have the gift of ‘advocacy’
In other words, they don’t produce anything.
Kinda explains BHO, doncha think?

MS: Yeah, I was, because I think it is terrific fun, and I think actually, that last Obama-Clinton debate was the best debate weve had on either side of the aisle since this thing got going. So I think actually, the more these two knuckle down toward this 50/50 bitter, bitter fight, actually, the better it is for
and I think certainly on Hillarys side, she will be a better candidate for it by the time this things over.
Sounds like Mark Steyn is enjoying the hell out of Rush's Operation Chaos.

Basically, the organizer goes to uneducated people who have trouble in their lives and foments resentment and then directs that resentment in a direction that benefits the organizer and those he is working for.

Jeremiah Wright, to his credit, has more integrity than Barack Obama. He says sure, sure I said God damn America, and sure I talked about the AIDS conspiracy, and sure I went to see Colonel Qaddafi. Im not ashamed about it. You want me to tell you more about that? Ill do you another forty minute riff on it. In his own perverse way, he has a kind of integrity. The man who doesnt is the man who spent twenty years in this mans company, and now claims to be stunned, stunned that he didnt know this guy at all. Preach it, Mark Steyn!

Yeah, I was thinking the other day that Wright may be the most patriotic man in America. He might have saved us from an Obama presidency single-handed.

Yes.
You might say that BHO was a “community organizer” in the same sense as were Adolph and Eva.

Obama is now the candidate of the insane leftThey are not insane. Many of them are just stupid and naive. I have friends and coworkers who are not insane, but they're sweet, well-intentioned, naive people who think this man will bring them a Kumbaya world. Stupid, as I say. I don't even know where to begin to argue with them because logic is so far beyond them.

I don’t think they are the true left—what you are describing. I have a friend that’s exactly as how you describe and she’s for Obama. She’s a good person, but probably ignorant when it comes to politics and taxes and health care, etc and the Constitution. She’s the perfect candidate for supporting an Obama presidency. There are the insane left though.

Can anybody tell me what MO is talking about when she says Obama “made his choice in the dark” and became a community organizer?

Is it just me, or does Mrs. Obama look like one of those people on stilts at the carnival whose pants hang over the stilts? She has the same gait and the same 45” inseam.
