RUSH: Mike in Warren, Ohio.
Nice to have you, sir, on the EIB Network.
CALLER: Oh, hi, Rush.
All right. I'm calling about Operation Chaos --
RUSH: Yes?
CALLER: -- which so far has been, you know, an incredible success. I don't need tell you that.
I just turned 18, and it was my first election, and I live in Ohio, and, you know, I voted for Clinton to throw off the whole Dems.
Basically my question is this. Since it's been so successful, what do you think...?
How do you think...?
You know, what can we do to prevent the Democrats from trying this, you know, on the Republicans?
RUSH: They've been doing it!
CALLER: You know, doing their own Operation Chaos in 2012.
RUSH: No, no, no, no!
This is a great question. You're 18?
CALLER: Yes.
RUSH: And so you have some things have happened, you were not old enough to pay close enough attention.
Who do you think picked John McCain as the Republican Party nominee?
You think Republicans picked him?
CALLER: I assume more liberal and mainstream Republicans would vote for him.
RUSH: No, no, no.
Do you think Republican primary voters nominated McCain?
CALLER: Probably more independents.
RUSH: Uh-huh. And Democrats crossing over in places like New Hampshire, it was Michigan in 2000.
The Democrat Party chose our nominee.
They didn't put him over the top, but they gave him the early lead in the early states where there were not a whole lot of conservative Republicans in these early primary states.
The Democrats have been doing this as long as I have been alive and longer.
This is balance! This is us playing by their rules.
To worry about if they turn it around?
They have never been this effective.
Well, they have, but they've had the whole Drive-By Media urging voters to do this and getting their message out.
We are but one show, and we have equaled and surpassed their efforts in the past.
Fear not on this.

Read the Background Material...
It would be pointless if Obama gets enough currently uncommitted superdelegates to delclare for him prior to the convention. Then the result is a fait acompli. Even Hillary can figure that one out. And who knows, she may agree to be Obama's VP.
The article in New York Times today indicates that she isn't showing any signs of dropping out. Never underestimate the Clintons.
Of course, she is going to say that with the IN and NC primaries just a few days away. Why would she show any signs of dropping out now?
“RUSH: DEMOCRATS CHOSE JOHN McCAIN”
Good. Let THEM vote for the backstabbing a’hole.
“And McCains fiscal retraining history is very much needed as we will not have a country left if the wreckless spending continues.”
How much do the illegal aliens that Juanito loves so much cost this nation yearly in social services and lives lost to them? Fiscal what?
no, there are many fun things that have almost no risk at all...going to the movies, exercising, listening to talk radio, etc...I think Rush is negatively addicted to his cigar smoking. He would be a calmer and more relaxed person without that addiction.
Is this post in relation to something I posted, or just relative to what Rush contends? I can't find anything I posted that relates to your comment.
I think you’re right. Living in Texas, the only thing I care about is illegal immigration. All the candidates support amnesty, but McCain is the only one who will refuse to back down in the face of overwhelming opposition from the people of this country. He already showed last time around that he doesn’t care what we think.
Email just recieved:
We in Denmark cannot figure out why you in America are even bothering to hold an election.
On one side, you have a bitch who is a lawyer, married to a lawyer (Clintons), and a lawyer who is married to a bitch, who is a lawyer (Obama).
On the other side, you have a war hero married to a woman with a nice chest, and who owns a beer distributorship.
Is there really a contest here?
Rush is, as always, 110% right.
Do you really think the media will skewer McCain for closing GetMo?
Do you think they’ll skewer him for granting citizenship to illegal aliens?
I personally think folks are underestimating the support McCain will get from the left. And the RNC sure isn’t going backrupt with it’s representative ensconced in the White House.
Congresscritters aren’t going to oppose him. He got elected based on his political views and proposed policies. If they want a future in Washington they have to play along. No Republican politican wants to be cut off from access to the White House.
I understand where you are coming from, but I’m not sold on the idea you are right. Take a look at the Republicans who have endorsed John McCain and tell me he’ll be abandoned by Republicans once elected. I don’t think you believe that, if you think about it.
Is that the patriot that rewrote the book on your First Amendment rights related to elections?
Bud, if he doesn’t give a rats arse about our free speech, what makes you think he’ll give a rats arse about any other rights?
You’re giving a leftist almost complete freedom to do whatever moves him. He will have about five Congresscritters and two Senators at the most who will opposed what he wants to do.
Hillary and Obama are certain to have 39 Senators and at least 175 Congressmen who will oppose them.
And the sad thing is, John will be proposing things they’ll sign on to in most instances.
You will do what you must. Good luck.
Thank you Exit82. I appreciate the comments. I have asked a number of McCain supporters what he could possibly do that would make them unable to vote for him. I haven’t had that question answered even once.
And so goes the election, the Mighty Conservative Movement fully behind the likes of John S. McCain.
Just who does propose Conservative legislation or policy over the next four years? If John McCain is elected, no one.
Okay Mariebl, then my criticism of Ted Kennedy for voting to confirm consumate leftists for the SCOTUS and United States appointments across this nation, was unreasoned. Thanks for the correction.
The problem with McCain is that he has a record.
The problem with us is that we are willing to ignore it.
Instead Conservatism has become the bastion of unfounded hope.
If your hopes are realized, I’ll be happy to have been proven wrong.
If my reasoning is verified to be sound, you appology will not erase what John has done, or prevent what he will ultimately do.
You take care.
Would you vote for a Black man or woman to be President? If they were sound on policy, I think you would. If they weren’t, I don’t think you would.
IMO, that’s how it will work in Congress. Those who disagree with Hillary or Obama will opposed them.
Republicans don’t bow the Pelosi. She’s a woman. I don’t think racial blackmail would work.
Well, better to know IMO. You take care.
Well, I don’t think he cares what we think either. That does bother me.
Excellent points Mariebl. So other than that, didn’t you think John Wilkes Booth was a great actor.
You give the kudos for doing what he should have. I don’t. Good grief, didn’t you expect him to do that?
As for Ginsberg, there is no excusing that away.
Just dang kiddo.
“I agree but you are wasting your time with the make believe Republicans here”.
If McInsane is a REAL republican, then the republican party has left me. I’ll never vote for him.
By the way this is a CONSERVATIVE website not a republican propaganda machine.
