You know what’s really funny about this is that they don’t exactly honor the sacrifice of the Union soldiers who freed the slaves now, do they? I’m just sick of this whole country which is not going to recover.

Not one slave was brought to American under the Stars and Bars they all came under the Stars and Stripes. The men and women who died for the Confederacy, died for their beliefs just like any Union Soldier did. Their sacrifice and committment should be HONORED!
Now, before someone chews me out, I AM a loyal American, my family has shed blood for this Country in EVERY War, Police Action, or ‘skirmish’ they have ever had.
I say (and MEAN) the pledge, but I am beyond tired of people screaming about getting rid of the Souths history, when we’re celebrating Norways! (I’m sure some state out there is).

A terrorist is defined as a person who uses violence against civilians to gain political ends. Keeping people enslaved is obviously one of the most vile forms of violence. On the Denton, Texas Square is therefore a monument to terrorists. The statue of the confederate solider on the square in Denton, Texas is nothing more than a standing ovation to the use of violence against innocents, and other oppressed minorities for economic and sociopolitical gain.
This one is just down the way from my family's tomb in Greenwood Cemetery. It was dedicated in April of 1874 and as well as depicting a statue of a confederate soldier, it features the busts of Robert E. Lee, Stonewall Jackson, Albert Sydney Johnson, and Leonidas Polk.
There is also the 60ft marble column on which stands the figure of Robert E. Lee in Lee Circle near downtown New Orleans. It was dedicated in 1890. So far it hasn't been changed to "Spike" Lee Circle. Ha!

IMO, There couldn’t be a better tribute to the whole slavery/civil rights issue than the existence of two formally separate drinking fountains, open to all for the past 40+ years, flanking a Civil War monument.
The moonbats would destroy every single military monument in every state if they could, no matter if the statuary was Confederate, WWI, Spanish-American or whatever.
They're just concentrating now on Confederate memorials which are more vulnerable to attack since they've attached "racism" to the monuments and dumb people fall for this line.
