Haven’t you heard, we aren’t having Global Warming anymore! Its Climate Change.
Over geological time Earth has had its coldest periods when there were major landmasses at one or both poles - such as now, when we are in a period of successive ice ages. If Antarctica were e.g. at the equator there would be a significant reduction in the Earth's effective albedo.
Reminder:
BUMP! As a middle-aged college student, I’ve been getting bombarded with this hype and tripe about global warming, the evil President Bush and how Iraq is all about oil, and how our government is so evil and imperialistic.
What upsets me the most is that these young people take this stuff as Gospel.
