Obama is an outright liar with his being "shocked" all of a sudden. Wright hasn't "changed" at all.

If Obama according to his words barely knew his Muslim father, didn’t realize his 20 year preacher was racist until a few days ago, to whom did he really listen for his spirituality and what does he really believe?

Obama was close to Wright when it benefited Obama. Now Obama is distancing himself from Wright because Wright hurts Obama. I can't say Obama agrees with Wright only that he used him when it was convenient to do so. This is typical of politicians who put self above honor.

We ARE judged by the company we keep...and why not? Any one of us parents has most likely had to guide our kids away from the loser/troubled/trouble-making kids in their youth. (It only took ONE incident of my son getting into trouble due to other problem kids to wise him up.)
I don’t see this as any different. We ARE who we associate with. Hang with America-Haters and Commies? Gee. Isn’t it OBVIOUS where your sympathies lie? (Hillary!, too.)

Yes he IS an outright liar!!
For Obama to say that Wright's rant of a couple of days ago is worse than the vile, hateful, racist, venom he spewed prior to that for over 20 years is absolutely (and once again INSULTING) ridiculous!!
Obama admits he was a 'close friend'.
Obama admits Wright was his 'mentor'.
Obama admits Wright was his 'Spiritual Advisor'.
Wright was his pastor.
Wright married the Obamas.
Wright baptized their children.
And only NOW does Obama realize 'what Wright is all about'?????
If that's the case--we should give Obama a 'pass' for stupidity and naivete', but disqualify him from our nation's highest office FOR THOSE VERY SAME REASONS!!

Please re-post here the excellent and spot-on analysis you posted on another thread earlier today. It bears repeating.

Wright hasn't "changed" at all.Either has Obama. But he has learned well how to lie about it.
If if wasn't for Sean Hannity--Obama would have never, NEVER condemned any of Wright's comments!!! The American people owe Sean Hannity a 'debt of gratitude' for that one.
After all, he sat there for 20 years and NEVER SAID A WORD. Why doesn't he state publicaly whether or not he told his 'close friend' that he was outraged by his close friend's comments?

Lest we forget what he said before....
"I can no more disown him (Wright) than I can disown the black community." - Barack HUSSEIN Obama
So if Obama's speech yesterday essentially declared that he disowned Wright, then one must conclude that he has also just disowned the black community.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's all a "dog and pony show".
All this has taken a non-sensical turn.
For instance, what would do wrights church, his people, and his agenda more good than having a black president whom he mentored?
I think there's been a phone call or two made and they're playing a public scene designed to bolster obama-llama-ding-dong, while getting the "reverend" wright all the camera time he seems to desparately crave.
I think it was a "...let's fight in public, get me in office, and then I'll be in a position to help your cause..." type of deal.
It makes sense now that obama has flip-flopped and half defended wright all this time..but now when it has become a true albatross around his neck, he needs to publicly distance himself from the "reverend".
Wright also played it too suspiciously at the press club meeting; it just looked like a "stunt".
And, all of a sudden a man who doesn't even have time to "eat his waffle" seems to have heard the speech in its entirity, and has himself become a "waffle" in the "love me-love me not" 20-year wright-obama relationship.
But, the damage has already been done to obama's credibility, his judgement, and his ability to identify and rectify a potentially dangerous situation.
Evidently, Obama has been clapping on 1&3.
