I am warning everybody now. This latest dust up with Rev. Wright is all a coordinated setup by the Obama campaign staff!
Obama tried for the “It was all a mischaracterization of Rev. Wright. He’s a nice guy. I won’t denounce him.” That didn’t sell. His internal polling and focus groups showed that the public was not buying the story since Obama had been a loyal church member for 20 years. Obama was losing ground. And it would hurt him in November!
Obama needed to find a “quick exit”. But how do you denounce Wright when you have already refused to do so????? Well, you need Wright to say something even more outrageous and then denounce that. As Obama’s loyal counselor, mentor and Pastor who presided over his wedding and the baptism of his children, Rev. Wright was willing. So Pastor Jeremiah came out of hiding (where he had passed up some honorary awards) and calls a series of press conferences and issues some more outrageous comments.
Quick like a rabbit, Obama denounces the “latest statements”. He then denounces Sharpton. Then Obama calls a press conference to “answer the questions about Rev. Wright”. Gee. Would would have guessed?!?!?!?!?!?!
Thi is such an obvious sham, it is hilarious that anyone is buying into it! Obama merely wants to dispose of the Rev. Wright issue by denouncing him. But he needed a new provocation in order to justify it. And Wright gave him the opening. And undoubtedly they planned it together!
Gingrich is the funny one in all of this. He is asking, “Is Rev. Wright trying to undermine Obama”? Of course not! the Pastor is doing Obama a favor. Its a coordinated kabuki dance. Obama gets to dispose of Wright six months before the election and then refuse to discuss it till after the election. Then who do you think will be holding the bible when he is sworn in?
Why are you all missing this? Obama has the nomination locked. This is the final move to prepare for the general election. Dump WRight. Dump Sharpton. Dump Jesse. Then they all meet after the election and toss back a few scotches and call for women and cigars! Big con job on America! How else could Obama unload the “Rev. Wright scandal” from around his neck? He had to have a premise! So he asked Wright to fall on his sword, and Jeremiah complied!. Anyone buying into this is simply blind!

This has all the earmarks of Vince McMahon story line.
That’s what I think, although I think they bungled it. Obama did not attack Wright until after Wright attacked Obama. Apparently Obama doesn’t care if Wright attacks America. It’s only when Wright attacks Obama that he is “outraged.”

Maybe. But even if you’re right, it’s a gamble of the first order.
The only reason millions of white people have voted for Obama thus far is that he truly seemed like the post-racial candidate, as if he had nothing in common with the racist race-baiters such as Sharpton and Jackson.
If he truly throws Wright under the bus, that actually will be a good day for America. Obama will have to sink or swim without the racists. And I believe his outrage at being called, essentially, a “puppet” by Wright (”He was only saying what politicians say; he’ll be dancing to my tune when he’s in the White House”) is very real. Obama knows very well if he were to ever show any more evidence that he’s (as Wright implied) Wright’s “boy,” his national political career is over.
I don’t think Obama would take that chance. If he manages to escape out of this one, I think he will have learned his lesson: don’t pick up a snake and think you can put it in your pocket without it biting you.
His ONLY chance now is to go to full disowning of Wright. And if Wright comes out swinging, then Obama has no chance but to go to full-scale war with him.
That might end up being good for the country. Someone like Obama is the only guy who (at least at this moment in history) can take these guys out. And I for one hopes he does it.
It may not save him politically this time around (obviously I don’t want him to win in November), but it may help our country and for that I’d be grateful. If Obama has the hormones to really fight back at these racists and say what needs to be said, I’d give him great credit for that.

Whether premeditated or not, not many people will be deceived by this that do not want to be deceived. Everyone will know that Obama knew that he had made a mistake by not denouncing him when the controversy started and now he does it for political expediency.
Yeah but you gotta wonder if Wright has something against BHO. The Reverend had to have known his little speaking tour would not be good for BHO.

My thoughts exactly, and I think he’s going to be able to pull it off. It even seems that Fox has bought this bit of magic.
