It is time for someone to drop the N-bomb on Jeremiah Wright:
Nut. The guy is whacked out of his mind.
Crazy. Unhinged. Certifiable. One step away from roaming Boston Common, pushing a shopping cart and muttering about the Mother Ship.
A sane person, given three days of high-profile media opportunities, would spend them trying to convince voters that his pal, Sen. Barack Obama, is a good guy who can be trusted, in part because youre not such a bad guy yourself.
But the Rev. Wright, given that very opportunity, spent 72 hours reaffirming on national television that America is a terrorist nation, Israel is an apartheid state, and AIDS is the result of a government conspiracy.
If the Rev. Wright is capable of rational thought, it is not, apparently, while in the presence of a microphone.
For days, Wright has been strutting across the national stage, at the National Press Club, crowing about an America in league with racists, Zionists and terrorists. (No doubt his failure to mention the Trilateralists and Scientologists was an oversight.)
But it was when Wright began (ahem) explaining his theory of black brain evolution (right brained, subject oriented) vs. white brain evolution (left brained cognitive object oriented) that I reached head-shaking astonishment.
Why are people taking this nut seriously?
Black brains vs. white brains? Even the boys in the Aryan Nations compound are snickering about that one.
The man clearly needs his meds. So why havent Democrats denounced him? Why hasnt someone gone to Obama and said, Look, pal, its time to put the past in pastor and dump this guy. You threw your own grandmother under the bus, so theres room for Wright under there, too.
For awhile, it looked like Obama might get away with his lame excuse of innocence by...

When the Boston Herald is writing this, Obmama is toast! No butter needed.
interesting read!
This Rev thing is about the most mouth dropping scratch your head in wonder moments in politics I’ve ever seen - I can’t help thinking the clintons are behind this - did they pay him off??? Makes you wonder .....
pass the popcorn
The same reason they have'nt denounced Jackson, Sharpton, or any other race hustling poverty pimp: As long as you bring the votes to the chosen 'rat, all is well.
"Of course, we are the ones that understand you're different and need our help; just keep voting, "D", dears, and we'll keep taking care of you..." What you are seeing is so - called "soft" bigotry. It features double standards, lowered expectations, excuse making, and the smug "knowledge" that "society" has made some groups unable to compete with the prive ledged group, and thus, must be taken care of.
'Rat identity politics and bigotry held up for the world to see, if they would but open their eyes.
Meanwhile Obama supporters gaze at the Obama posters on their walls; softly repeating “Obama, Obama....”
He badmouthed her publicly!
That is great!!! lol It could make a great Tag line!!!
Alas, so few syndicated columns and so many layers to Rev. Wright’s onion. One of the many unexplored layers is the implicit endorsement that many organizations are giving to the Rev. Wright. What are we to infer about the National Press Club and the NAACP and mega-churches in Dallas and elsewhere that they are inviting him to speak, then giving him a warm, warm reception, etc?
How could these organizations be communicating anything other than an explicit endorsement of Wright’s ideas as mainstream in the African American community? The leading institutions in Black America — the NAACP, the church, etc — are saying explicitly and provocatively that Wright’s views reflect a significant portion of the black community. They are saying that they are not surprised by any of his statements. They are saying ...
And they know what they are saying. There is nothing unintentional or unknowing about these moves ...
“Why are people taking this nut seriously?”Because they are just as nutty as he is.Liberalism is still a mental disorder.
I was thinking Hillary had to be behind the 72 hours of magical mystery tour as well. I think there’s a good chance that Hillary will get the nomination now.
And Obama didn't just leave Wright's church, he was the reason Wright was forced to "retire" from his cushy position
Maybe early on he started on good intentions but at some point the Evil inside him took over as he eventually got bored and found a platform from which he could spit fire and excite himself by feeding his ego at the expense of many of his own countrymen.
I am certain Wright does not represent the majority of black churches. He is a freak and an Evil freak at that. Obama likes to say this is how black churches are because he is trying to cover is backside but I don't believe it because that is not what churches and Christ are about.
Wright has so many demons, they have to timeshare.
I couldn’t disagree more.
He’s “I” (illogical), “U” (uneducated), and a “P” (provacateur).
Actually, he’s “R” - RACIST.
We do not understand deeply enough the club mentality of the DC set. Was it Twain who referred to the Senate as the most exclusive club in the world? Someone did. They have stacked the rules to make it increasingly difficult for nonmembers to join. To wit, McCain/Feingold et al.
None of our vaunted leadership is going to shut down Wright. He brings a locked in segment of the underclass to the voting booth.
It is all a game and we are the ones being played with. We need a clean house movement to remove 100% of our Congressmen. Then we should set term limits (2), cut their pay and provide no retirement benefits beyond SS. Let them eat the same cake they force down our throats.
Sorry about the ramble. Going back for 2nd cup of coffee.
