I'll bet that they won't deny that I'm not on his short list either.I asked them about you Non-Sequitur. They would neither confirm nor deny that you are on that list.

floating a rumor and not denying about keys as VP might be as big a bone as conservatives can expect to be thrown by mcCain.

Then why does Keyes keep losing so badly? What do you think the problem is?

They have to have some sort of surprise for the convention.

I think you ment to say Alan Keyes is on the short bus.
I didn't know much about Keyes, but after seeing him a couple of times in the GOP debates, I wasn't impressed. All he did was rant and complain that he wasn't getting enough time or questions.
Maybe: I think you ment to say Alan Keyes is on the short bus leash.

Alan keys is bright...but he’s already made himself a “caricature”....Not a chance that he will be the VP choice...story is pure specualtion.
To: spectre
I like the man but the MSM and popular culture has more or less destroyed him.

Hitler/Paris Hilton/Ted Kennedy on short list to become John McCain VP pick for the Republican ticket.Given McCain's record, the last of those is actually credible.

Who confirmed this? No-one "The McCain camp will not deny"
deny the most absurd suggestions, and they start making more reasonable ones - having established a precedent, when you don't deny a suggestion, they now have a story.

Short list, short bus, not much difference in the GOP trainwreck of 2008.

Ron Paul sounds like a crackpot to today’s conservatives because he is interested in conserving the Republic the Founders bequeathed to us, while they are interested in conserving the ego-illusion of American National Supremacy that we adopted after WWII - even if they have to expand the welfare state to do it. Developments in history since that time have put the two visions into sharp conflict.
