WASHINGTON (AP) -- Hillary Rodham Clinton now leads John McCain by 9 points in a head-to-head presidential matchup, according to an Associated Press-Ipsos poll that bolsters her argument that she is more electable than Democratic rival Barack Obama.
The survey released Monday gives the New York senator and former first lady a fresh talking point as she works to raise much-needed campaign cash and persuade pivotal undecided superdelegates to side with her in the drawn-out Democratic primary fight.
Helped by independents, young people and seniors, Clinton gained ground this month in a hypothetical match with Sen. McCain, the GOP nominee-in-waiting. She now leads McCain, 50 percent to 41 percent, while Obama remains virtually tied with McCain, 46 percent to 44 percent.
Both Democrats were roughly even with McCain in the previous poll about three weeks ago.
Since then, Clinton won the Pennsylvania primary, raising questions anew about whether Obama can attract broad swaths of voters needed to triumph in such big states come the fall when the Democratic nominee will go up against McCain.
Added Steve Lombardo, a GOP pollster: "This just reinforces the sentiment that a lot of Republican strategists are having right now -- that Clinton might actually be the more formidable fall candidate for a lot of reasons, not the least of which is that Obama can't seem to get his footing back."

I alluded to that on a thread last week, and the insults started flying from Rushbots. Last week he says OC is to make Hillary beat up on Obama. This week he says that this is about chaos. He doesn’t know what he’s doing, so he needs to keep out of Democratic politics.

At first I thought Operation Chaos was a good idea to keep the fight alive but I was hoping Rush would have told the operatives to back Obama in PA and get it over with. Obama is now already damaged goods and it looks like it’s going to be 8 more years of Clinton.
I actually was rooting for Obama to win so we could get rid of both McCain AND Hiltery in one sweep. Obama is Jimmy Carter and it took Jimmy Carter to give us Reagan.

You might want to check out their lifetime voting records at ACU or ADA. The two of them are within a point or two of each other on the "Marxist" scale.

Whether Rush has caused this Chaos in the primaries or not, I think most would admit, it has been fun watching it unfold.
Rush better change his orders and get a win for Obama to offset the dragon's big mo. If he gets her elected, he'll have about as much conservative support as does McLame.

Your logic scares me. I am not saying Hillary is a prize, but we know VERY little about Obama, and what we do know is terribly frightening.
The people he associates/has associated with are anti-Americans, muslims, racists, etc. If elected, Obama has “wonderful” plans for our country. He will make FDR’s wealth redistribution look like chicken feed.

In fact, take a look at the responses of the Rushbots on this thread. There's no consistent view of what OC is meant to accomplish.
Some claim it's about creating chaos. Some say it's about beating up Obama. Some say it's about nominating Hillary as the 'weaker' candidate.
And a few even admit that it's about getting revenge on McCain by denying him the White House.
No one knows-or can agree- on what the goal is, but we're supposed to trust their 'brilliant' plan.

The war in Iraq is planned the same way. There is no way ANYONE could plan ahead for something that is so UNPRECEDENTED. Sometimes you MUST plan as you go, especially if you have never come across such an enemy prior.
