Can’t find a copy of Disney’s Song of the South anywhere either.

Can't find Song of the South but you can sure still find plenty of cartoons about "pore unedumacated hillbilly" trash.

Anywhere is this country.

They sell it in other parts of the world. A friend of ours picked it up in Japan ~12 years ago and dubbed it for us.

I had heard Disney was considering re-releasing it in the States, but I doubt it will ever happen.

Can’t find a copy of Disney’s Song of the South anywhere either.

When I lived in England in 2000 I saw a video tape of it on the shelf at a video store and I rented it because I had never seen it.

Song of the South is hiding somewhere with Little Black Sambo. Wont surprise me if they don't remove the Our Gang movies because of Buckwheat and that other little round faced Black kid that was so wonderful. And how about Step and Fetchit and Rochester of the old Jack Benny show. Al Jolson would not make it in todays world because no more black face routines either. I guess Black really never existed in the history of America, thus no reparation???

Actually you can. http://www.onlyclassicmovies.com/index.html

They never released it in America but they did release the English version in Britain. I bought about 6 copies last year and gave them as gifts. Needless to say everyone was astounded and happy to get them.

Can’t find a copy of Disney’s Song of the South anywhere either.

It's on DVD, they just won't sell it here in the US.

I got “Song Of The South” from somewhere on the internet app 5 years ago, but I don’t have the website bookmark anymore :(

I got it via a site online —and they even had the NON-Disney
Coal Black appended to it. Even saved money by getting an “opened” copy (they inspect some)
