It negates the lefts contention that the poor and minorities are too stupid to know how to obtain an ID. This could be the end of the Democrats best strategy”Vote early and vote often”

Now is the time to put this ruling into effect in every single state—Republicans of all stripes, from conservatives to RINOs can certainly agree on that.
Stick it to ‘em, folks: the SCOTUS has given us the green light to REQUIRE IDENTIFICATION for voters.
Nice job, SCOTUS.

I was just talking to my mother who is working on our primary election at the county building when I saw this headline. She is working in “the dungeon” of the building matching all the registered voters and weeding out the dead and moved people off of the rolls.
She announced it right then to all the election workers and I heard all the cheers in the background, this is VERY good news for Indiana and the rest of the nation!!

YES!!!!
Say what you want about Bush, but he has appointed 2 very good justices to the bench. I realize the vote was 6-3, but Roberts and Alito have been on the correct side most of the time...

Great news. This requirement should be replicated in every state.

Democrats and civil rights groups say the law would deter poor, older and minority voters from casting ballots.I had to show photo ID to participate in the DEMOCRAT caucus (operation chaos) here in Texas. I protested but was told that if I didn't show ID I would have to leave.

Woot! Someone call the Missouri legislature and tell them to try again.

I wonder who are the three dissenters; maybe Scalia, Alito and Roberts.
To: Aristotelian
It was a 6-3 decision, with even Stevens agreeing and apparently writing the decision. I understand Scalia wanted even a broader ruling in favor of documentation, God bless him.

Now this can be used as the standard template across the nation.
As Indianapolis’s 2007 Mayoral Election proves.

All right! I’m really glad to hear this. All over the country, the Dems are dragging out winos from the local hobo jungle and giving the identities of long-dead grannies. Not to mention the many vacant lots all over the US that are casting a Dem vote every election.
