Gathering of Eagles has just announced Recruiter Appreciation Day, Saturday, May 17 or there abouts.
Being a Saturday, some recruiter stations have shortened hours or are closed. Friday or Monday might be a better day.
As in other Support the Troop Events, one organization steps forward to be the main coordinating organization. GoE has once again stepped up to the plate this year. Check out the GOE site for pertinent info. Hopefully no one doubles up on a Recruiter Station while one across town is neglected.
Just need to keep it close to the 17th.
The D.C. Chapter is doing our two recruiter centers on Friday when most recruiters are there.

Last year I took Little Ceasar’s pizza and drinks over to a Army recruiter in the Burbank mall. They didn’t believe that I would really show when I called to express my plans. They were surprised, and elated.
Little Ceasar’s supports the troops.
If you have Little Ceasar’s, they support the troops with alot of opportunities. So, good pizza at a great price!
FRiends, I challenge you to take half an hour or an hour to show our Military you appreciate them.
All the FR bumps and pings in the world mean nothing to the outside world.
What does freedom mean to you?

Open challenge to ALL, please don’t let your Comfort Zone be so comfortable that you don’t appreciate what others have done to provide you with freedom. Complacency is deadly.
It seems very few do much here other than use this as an online newspaper supported by the fiscal sacrifice of others. Meanwhile, thanks to those who take freedom seriously.

Would love to see some After Action Reports start to come in. I have one of two ORA actions completed and know of others completed or underway.
And (I know I’m preaching to the choir!) if you haven’t done anything to show your support, you still can, anytime year ‘round.
