John McCain has done NOTHING since he won the GOP nomination to win conservative loyalty. It just goes to remind people its a two way street. Rush Limbaugh shows why the GOP base remains disaffected. McCain's biggest problem is himself.

We should all follow Limbaugh’s directive and vote for Hillary.

Why don't we just vote for Rush's endorsed candidate tax cutter raiser Bobby Jindal?

Wait a minute. That's not his experience, and we have to keep this in mind. McCain's experience is succeeding not as a conservative. He thinks conservatives denied him the nomination in 2000. McCain sees his success as a "maverick," as making deals with Democrats. The media loves McCain. The Democrats loved McCain. That's where he is, and he thinks because he can cross the aisle, sit across the aisle, whatever; that makes him bigger and better than simple partisans and so forth. So, no. He doesn't look at conservatism as having anything to do with his success. Once you understand that -- you don't agree with it -- you'll understand why he's doing what he's doing.

Be loyal to McCain? Hell no! Even those voting for him, will be doing so, holding their noses. He keeps this up, he may find himsel;f a ‘Candidate of One’. Repuhnlicans could just decide to desert him. Start a radio/Online wrire in campaign because McCain is too detestably untrustworthy, and no better than either of the smarmy DemoLibs.

McCain is doing his “honorability” thing. He’s deathly afraid the MSM will take any instance where it can label him “racist” he will lose their favor. He’s ignorant. They don’t need him anymore as the “backstabber-Republican-who-speaks-the-truth-about-his-racist-party.
The commercial isn’t even cryptically racist except it plays in North Carolina so for some white urban liberals it must be racist.

McCain does not seek nor want the support of conservatives. He hates conservatives because the the flak he has received for some of his legislation. Just to name two, one he is enjoying now, campaign finance reform and the one everyone loved to dump on...immigration. For McCain his goal is to give a big finger the conservative base, you don't diss McCain!

If McCain doesn’t pick Romney, Sanford or Pawlenty as his running mate, I’m going to find it difficult to vote for him.
To: goldstategop
I look at John McCain as just another Democrat. He may love his country more than the other two do, wich is not saying much, but he is still just another f*cking Democrat.
As far as I’m concerned, the Dhims have already won the election.

Question: "The Republican Party in North Carolina is planning to run an ad bashing Senator Obama. I know you opposed the ad, but they're running it anyway. So what does that say about you, that you haven't opposed it strongly enough or your own party is blatantly disagreeing and disregarding your wishes?" MCCAIN: It means that the Republican Party of the state of North Carolina is dead wrong. They are an independent organization. I'll do everything in my power to make sure not only they stop it, but that kind of leadership is rejected
======
RODRIQUEZ: But as the Republican nominee for president, couldn't you pick up the phone and call the head of the North Carolina GOP and say, "Don't run it"?
MCCAIN: I have communicated that in every possible way, and, uh, I will, uh, continue to communicate that.
The MSM is trying, and succeeding in making McCain sound impotent here and the old fool is only too happy to help.

I have no problem with McCain who, with his staff and National Republican contacts, seems to doing a surprisingly good job on keeping to the high ground despite all on the left trying to plow him under.
My problem is with Limbaugh who, in his hang-ups on McCain, seems utterly incapable of seeing that a Presidential candidate must aspire to be a President of all 300 million citizens of this great nation - instead of being a ideologue for only one segment.
After going through 5 1/2 years in a hellhole of a North Vietnamese prison/torture chamber, I don't think McCain is ever going to be Limbaugh's man. Yes, that's a pretty unique experience, indeed.
More power to McCain. Condolences to Rush - he needs a good wife at this time in his life..

Sorry Mr. McPain, you are dead wrong. The State of North Carolina Republican Party knows exactly what to do to make sure Obama is defeated. (After all, they fixed your wagon in the primaries of the year 2000. Still bitter aren't cha! )
