Yep John is, “rock solid on the core issues.”

Here’s the keg of Republican swill, drink up. Let us know when you need more...

It’s shocking how out of touch these folks are with Conservative reality.

Well there it is. Thompson just said “no”, he wouldn’t consider a VP spot with McCain.

Thank you. I’ve been making the case too, with about the same success. Folks don’t not only don’t get it, they’re angry if you ask them to at least contemplate the obvious.

I like your tagline BTW. Very good.

On Obama:

He is new and inexperienced.

One of the most liberal politicians in Washington.

This late in the game, finding out about his values raises questions.

A lot of people should be eating their words.

Of course, they won’t.

Seriously, thank God.

He says Obama is a great unknown- asks several questions about what his associations say about his character..

He clearly is not enamored of Senator Obama.

Hey there! Enjoying the FRed interview on H&C as we speak. He made one remark that was a little striking to me. He said (paraphrasing here - not exact wording) "We did what we wanted to do and accomplished what we wanted to accomplish". After the SC primary I wondered if FRed might have been hanging in there to help out McCain against Huck and Romney. The above statement makes me wonder a little more. Of course Huck and Romney wasn't any better than McCain, so it really doesn't matter now anyway. The choices were crap, and well, we ended up with crap.

After the republican primary the presidential race is a liberal and two socialists running for office. The whole blood fest on the democrat side is very entertaining and hopefully their party will be damaged beyond repair with a weak candidate in November. At least then we'll have a liberal president with an opposition party in congress, rather than a socialist of the same party of congress.

Politically these are horrible times. This is what the absence of conservative leadership in DC over the last 8 years have lead to.

I CANNOT agree with you more.

I miss hearing from him every damn day. Never (in over 35 years of voting) was I so convinced in the rightness of a candidate for the oval office.

Bitter With guns and God?

Who is this guy?

What does he believe?

We don't know that.

That is what Obama will have to answer.

FT indicated we should be very suspicious of this stranger, Obama.

He says what does his bazaar associations like the Rev Wright, (bring up AIDS claims), mean?

These association reflect a certain character?

Again, says we do not know Obama at all, is unprecedented in American politics.

Says Obama is a climber on the political career path.

Missed what he said about Michelle Obama.

"In my mind- Fred was the last best hope for our country. I’m not being dramatic- I mean it."

I feel like FRed was the last gasp of air in the true limited government conservatism leaving the body politic, at least at the presidential level.

I’ll add a “me too” to that. Plus, I missed Fred on H&C, which I really don’t watch anymore. I didn’t catch this thread in time. :(

I wish he’d spend a bit more time challenging McRino on his RINO-ism than defending his sorry ass.

Hope for the Republicans. (this year)

His temper ( McCain ) with his peers, he will press, but not with staffers.

He has learned from his past mistakes.

these are not quotes. Just what I am hearing.
