They had to have thought long and hard to have come up with that logo...
The Missouri Department of Corrections revamped their administrative structure in the 80’s and decided to give the staff person who supervised a specific housing unit within a prison a new title. They selected “Functional Unit Coordinator.”
It took a whole week for someone to realize, in a governmental agency which refers to everything by acronyms composed of initials, what the acronym would be for that staff title.
That staff title is now “Functional Unit Manager” or FUM.
ROTFLMAO!! Priceless!
Just imagine what would happen if the government in the Congo came up with this logo...
I wouldn’t want to be appointed “Functional Unit Coordinater - Eastern Region.”
ROFLOMAO!
I guess they were pretty ‘hard up’ for something new. I wonder what has happened to the ‘stand up’ guy who came UP with this?
I wonder if his name is ‘Johnson?’ At any rate, I hope he’s satisfied himself that he did a bang-up job...
I heard he had some stiff competition, too...
This is going to be one of those threads isn’t it?
No flies on you, AR. What’s needed most in these situations is a prophylactic team who can winnow out potentially flaccid suggestions from the copious ideas that are input.
The Government giving its constituents the “one second cue”.
But then what’s new about that?
ping
Promoting good prostate health?
Because it’s Friday.
