You really get into the nasty name calling and intimidation telling people to get off the threads and you very plainly call them liars or even wicked liars, that is some very personal nasty business that you are engaging in.

Calling all of those freepers, especially the many old timers a “small crew of rabble rouser’s who slide beneath the radar on this forum to make completely false statements”, takes an awful lot of self importance and arrogance.

Defending Jeffs cult can be done without all of the nasty personal attacks.

Many good people here are against his cult and want it brought down, that is a legitimate view no matter what his web site says.

Like that word game accomplishes something, if you want to join us in opposition to Warren Jeffs and his cult feel free, but right now you are defending his cult with everything that you can throw out there.

The annoying thing is how aggressive and rude you are while doing it, I understand passion for a cause, but you can speak for him and his without constantly trying to squelch the other side.

This will probably offend you, but hey, why ruin a perfect record? Joseph Smith learned that the Trinity was a false doctrine, how? Simple, Jesus and God the Father appeared to him and they were separate personages, thus Joseph Smith knew just as Stephen knew that God the father and Jesus were separate beings.

You believe that Jesus and God are separate manifestations of the same substance. I have no problem with you believing that, and I would not be arguing with you except that you are here trying to tell me I am wrong, again, I wish you could be as accommodating about my religion as you are about my opinion.

You have gotten this one wrong too, no one cares if I think X is an abomination, and no one cares if Joseph smith thinks Y is an abomination. What God thinks is an abomination, on the other hand, now that's important.

I don't have a problem with your incorrect beliefs because I know that in the grand scheme of things, my opinion (like yours) doesn't amount to a hill of beans, God's opinion is all that counts. I have no problem with you believing that." and I would never bother to go on thread about your religion and bash you and your beliefs, I have better things to do. It says nothing there about accurately reporting a vision of God.

When the Bible was written the Trinity was not a doctrine, the Godhead was. An impartial reading of the bible reveals that God and Christ are separate beings who are one in heart might mind and strength. many of the Buddhists I met in Taiwan who had already read the bible, came to this conclusion and rejected "Christian" churches on the basis that they were not following their own Bible.

In short, the change Paul was warning about happened in 325 AD, it was called the changing of the Doctrine of God and Christ to the doctrine of God/Christ, that is the doctrine that is accursed.

Thus, I who have read the Book of Mormon, and asked God according to the promises in the Bible received a witness direct from God that the Bible and the Book of Mormon are both his word, and at the same time that I was receiving a testimony of the Book of Mormon, I received a witness that Jesus Christ is the son of God, that he died fro my sins, and that only through his grace can I possibly be saved.

This exactly and completely is what the Bible promises if an answer is of God.

what do you have?

You have a bunch of carefully edited quotations, you have mis-interpretations that ignore our statements that they are mis-stating our beliefs, you have documents like the salamander letter that are proven forgeries, yet are still prominent on anti Mormon web sites. You have colorful graphics and fonts. You have the company of those who believe that the ends will justify their means, when Christianity would teach you that the means must always justify themselves to God.

You have everything on your side but the truth, and God on your side, therefore you have nothing.

You must be crazy. How can you offer this guy (DU) anything. He already thinks he is on the way to godhood. He is looking to rule over his own planet, and kingdom. He actually believes it is true. Otherwise, he has no reason to explain or justify his faith in idols, and works. He is sitting in front of his computer (or hers?) in magic underwear. He really believes they are empowering and protecting him from evil.

His "religion" requires him to lie about things, and keep the meat from us ignorant things. It asks him to leave his family and ride a bike for two years, while wearing white shirts and magic underwear. His wife can only get into paradise with his blessing. She has little say in that matter, and is mainly his source of souls for his new planet. Why do you think they want more wives? They want lots of children souls.
