Clinton on Pace For $10 Million in 24 Hours
Real Clear Politics ^ | April 23rd, 2008 | TOM BEVAN

The Clinton campaign just blasted out the following email:

Hillary Clinton's campaign is on track to raise $10 million online in the 24 hours since she was declared the winner of the Pennsylvania primary last night. "Senator Clinton's game-changing victory last night has turned the tide and resulted in an historic outpouring of grassroots support," said Campaign Chairman Terry McAuliffe. "Just like Hillary, our supporters have met every challenge and come through each time. Thanks to them, we will have the resources needed to compete and win as we move ahead to the next contests."

In addition, the campaign has received support from over 60,000 donors through noon today, of whom approximately 50,000 are new donors.

Fifty-thousand new donors in twenty-four hours is impressive. So impressive, in fact, it makes me wonder if her numbers aren't being boosted, at least in part, by Phase II of Operation Chaos.

Really? I think some of the Chinese Dishwasher money is being laundered now through internet or other mechanisms. Or maybe there are people who think now she's got it.

Right. And she landed a plane in Bosnia under heavy sniper fire.

we can scoff all we want, but this doesn’t bode well. A lot of people out there want a Democrat elected, and it doesn’t much matter to them which one. If it were anybody besides these two, McCain wouldn’t stand a chance. As it is, I think he wins, but it will be close.

Obama is getting killed in the swing states.

He will be the nominee, period.

We are fine.

This early, it doesn’t really matter what the polls show though, so it could go either way.

A lot of people want a Dem; that is always the case. If we can swing it well, we can win.

I think we should have a fallow season.

A four year term, once in a while, without a President, so everyone can see who REALLY is responsible for the things that happen in our country.

The Congress and Senate would never allow this, as it is obvious whose lap the blame would land in.

You may be right but I don’t think the Dems could run Hillary at this point and keep the black vote.

It's the House and the Senate and the SUPREME COURT that all should be thinking about!!!

God forbid the Dems get ALL the power...Half the middle class will be reduced to "just getting by" and we'll have a depression that is impossible to control.
