Have any of you spent any time looking at the “Free Republic” web site? Yikes! If most of the folks posting on this site are what a “Free Republic” produces, then give me Communist Slavery every time.

It sounds like someone is a little bitter. If FreeRepublic is socialistic and communistic then Hillary Clinton is the mother of Conservatism. I suggest you go to Daily Kos. I'm sure you'll feel much better there.

Bush has given us a Godless/Unconstitutional war and violated the Constitution in many other ways.

No pal terrorists brought the war to us on 9/11/01. You have a short memory Mr. Lofton. Congress approved the War in Iraq in October of 2002 with a joint resolution. Get your facts straight vefore you start slinging the mud.

Just another misguided Paulite who completely misunderstands the root causes and stated goals of radical Islam. There’s a pretty good youtube video from former PLO terrorist Walid Shoebat that I like to point out to the “blowback” crowd. At one point Shoebat clearly explains that radical Islam has absolutely nothing to do with any sort of occupation...straight from the horse’s mouth. Until idiots like John Lofton educate themselves on radical Islam and fully understand the “whys,” this country will continue to teeter on the edge of extinction.

The thing that bothers me most about the "Americans are terrorists because we nuked Japan" angle is the "we never batted an eye" part.

Lots of people spent lots of hours agonizing over whether we should do it or not.
