Reducing energy use by U.S. manufacturers will have a braking effect on jobs and income.
And there's the dirty little secret that all politicians(R and especially D) go to great lengths to avoid saying.

Ironic that all the global warming scare mongers want to take CO2 out of the atmosphere, yet they claim to be “Green”. Green things need CO2 to breath. So keep it up you idiots and the army may have to lift up that tree because you killed it.

I applaud the statements of outrage in the article. Not only the disgusting exploitation of the physical courage of our veterans to highlight the hippie courage of a dangerous movement, but so what if the statement maker is black? He sounded like an American with justifiable scorn. I think it is a disservice to point out his race as it makes him seem to be the exception and not the rule.

I was waiting for some car repairs yesterday when I saw this issue of Time. I thought it was in such bad taste, I did something a bit out of character for me these days, and promptly pulled out my ink pen and scrawled “DISGRACEFUL” across the front of the cover...

“For Time to compare the politically-driven hoax about the severity of man-made global warming to one of most pivotal moments in American history is a slap in the face to the brave men who fought their way up Iwo Jima’s Mount Suribachi to plant our flag and send a clear message that victory in the long war in the Pacific was achievable,” said Martin. “To callously use a famous military image so important to our nation’s veterans with seemingly no concern for its impact on them shows just how far those promoters of this hoax will go.”
Kevin L. Martin, a true patriot and and a new hero for me.

Just one of the reasons I never read the Time rag anymore.

The Times just doesn’t care - they’ll go “ho hum” put their hands in their pockets and saunter away to the next outrage.

Way to go Kevin! Great article. Do Not back down on this!
I was commenting on this entire "green" nonsense earlier today on another thread.
"The Second World War we knew was there. Some say there is global warming, some say there isn't. And to stick a tree in place of a flag on the Iwo Jima picture is just sacrilegious." John Keith Wells, the Marine lieutenant who led the platoon that scaled Mount Suribaci and raised the American flag, opined: "That global warming in the biggest joke I've ever known."
At Mr. Wells' age, he has certainly seen some jokes!!!
Thank you both, Kevin and Mr. Wells, for your service to our country!

Excellent article Kevin, you have a fantastic way with words. What a disgraceful picture. This is the first time I saw it, though I heard about it.
