An illegal alien accused of sexually molesting two underage girls in Carthage two years ago entered Alford pleas Monday on both felony counts he was facing in Jasper County Circuit Court and was ordered turned over to immigration officials for deportation to Mexico.
Salomon A. Jiminez, 55, entered the pleas to counts of first-degree statutory rape and first-degree statutory sodomy in a plea agreement with the county prosecutor’s office. The agreement limited the length of sentences he could be assessed to 10 years for each conviction and called for the sentences to run concurrently.
Circuit Judge David Dally sentenced Jiminez to 10 years on each count but suspended execution of the sentence and ordered him turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement for deportation.
An Alford plea admits no guilt but acknowledges that the evidence against a defendant is strong enough to make a conviction likely if the case were to be tried in court.
A probable-cause affidavit filed in the case by Carthage police states that the defendant had sexual intercourse with a 9-year-old girl between June 1 and Sept. 1, 2006. The abuse took place on multiple occasions at a home in Carthage, the affidavit states.
Jiminez also had deviate sexual intercourse with a 7-year-old girl over the same period of time, according to court records. That abuse also took place on more than one occasion.

As awful as it sounds, I’d feel better if this only happened to the children of politicians, judges and greedy business types who facilitate this.
He will be back in the states in less than a year.
I don’t understand why Circuit Judge David Dally sent the guy packing instead of doing time for the sexual assaults?
Does this judge stand for election?
And what is the victims take on all this?
And lastly what if the guy sneaks back across the border again?

You can’t throw a cat in Jasper county Missouri without hitting an illegal alien. The city of Carthage was once a very pretty little town. It’s now an ugly wreck thanks to the invasion of illegals.
I don’t know what David was thinking. He lives in Carthage.
I have a theory:
The people like this judge, John McCain, Bush, et al, that condone the presence and the existence of illegals here in the U.S., are so far insulated and ignorant of the damage these illegals are causing that they simply don't see the harm in letting them stay.
Also, in the minds of the ruling class, they believe that the U.S. is invincible. That no amount of parasitic attacks can harm us. Why else would they condone the destructive actions of the ACLU, Aztlan, and yes, even people like Murtha who hold public office?
They see these things a merely a mosquito bite; something to be scratched and ignored.
They are incapable of seeing the cumulative effect of the unbridled assault on our culture, our economy, or judicial system and our way of life. It is merely beyond their ken to comprehend the how bad it's getting.
As long as the moat of money insulates them from these crimes they will continue to turn a blind eye in the name of mercantilism.
You could start by saying, Circuit Judge David Dally is a POS and a joke to his job, but then I could just say it for you. If he is an elected judge you sure have some stupid folks voting there.
What’s attracting them to the town?
That's a good question. Mason, Ohio attracts more than it's fair share of illegal Hispanics and other illegals too. Must be employers willing to hire them and landlords willing to rent to them.
I wonder about that myself. I live close to there. A big employer in the area is Leggett & Platt but I know they check for legality and I've only seen American faces in their plants (I've toured them).
I know Monett is fairly close and has a Tyson and George's chicken plants and that place has been overrun. And the other person is right, Carthage is overrun with illegals, bet there are chicken plants close. I moved from a small town east of Carthage, wanted to move to Carthage because it is beautiful but seeing the illegals (I assumed illegals) everywhere, I chose a different city nearby where there are none that I've seen.
Carthage has beautiful Victorian homes.

Liz, Lars Larson has been doing shows about USA citizen children being sent to Mexico by Oregon Children services, when they had family here who want them. Here’s the rub....Oregon notifies these Mexicans about their ‘relatives’ and guess what! When they are offered hundreds of dollars per month, they decide they want the kid! Yes, the state of Oregon pays monthly to the relative in Mexico support for the rest of the kid’s life. Can you imagine?
