HILADELPHIA — Undecided Democratic primary voters who wait until Election Day before choosing a candidate have overwhelmingly gone with Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton — a trend that she needs to continue in tomorrow's crucial Pennsylvania primary to claim a decisive victory.
Mrs. Clinton of New York bested rival Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois among voters making last-minute decisions by an average six-point margin in previous primaries, exit polls show, and about 9 percent remain undecided here.
"On Election Day, they've turned to the candidate they feel is a known quantity — Clinton," said Proloy Bhattacharyya of USA Election Polls, who studies the exit-poll data. "And a large percentage of undecided are going to the polls [this year]."
He said the effect should lessen if Mr. Obama begins to look more like the probable Democratic nominee.
And tomorrow should provide that test. Mr. Obama has closed Mrs. Clinton's one-time 20-point advantage to about five points, but the last-minute deciders could make the difference between a squeaker for Mrs. Clinton and the double-digit win her campaign needs to begin to erode Mr. Obama's lead in pledged delegates and overtake his thin lead in the popular vote.

If hillary goes to the convention - if it actually goes that far - she is going to win, and Hillary Clinton will roll over John McCain like a steamroller in a landslide of historic proportions.
All of you operation chaos people are whistling past the graveyard on your way to helping the most electable democrat on their ticket.
Obama is the weakest candidate that could possibly be found and in truth, if we cannot defeat OBAMA, then the GOP can't defeat anybody at all.
And that certainly includes the Clintons.
Mrs. Clinton is going to drub Algonquin J. Obama. 10+ percent.
In re "Operation Chaos:" it always made me queasy. IMHO, all it has done is revive Mr. and Mrs. Bill Clinton. It also has the unfortunate effect of making people like me focus and spend bandwidth on the Democrat Primary, rather than seeing what we can do with McCain.
Our man (OK, OK he's not a Conservative, but this is not Britain. We don't have a Conservative Party)needs severe shaping up on Immigration, Domestic Oil Production AND Refining, GLobal Warming, etc. (See Dan Calabrese's Platform)

Hillary is going to have a big win in Pennsylvania. There is far more racial prejudice in PA than in many states. And they will not vote for Obama. They don't like Hillary but they hate Obama. The more the meida played up Obama as a winner the more white working class Democrats decided to vote for Hillary.
The other point is the 10 million dollars spent by Obama was wasted, The only place Obamaa will do well is in the big cities where there are substantial black populations.
But blacks will not vote in the same numbers they have in the past. Innner city blacks expect to be paid to vote. And the heads of the party in the big cities are mostly white. Of east european and italian exctraction. They are working class democrats and they don't want Obama to be the nominee. They are not about to get out the vote for Obama.
Obama could not buy votes, becuase he does not have the personal available to do it. And the Democratic party workers are all in Hillary's camp.
The media will prove beyond a doubt that they do not have the power to elect Obama and they have no power to defeat Hillary. The loser tonight will be the media and Obama.
This will be Hillary's night. She is going to win big, both Obama's and Hilary's internal polls show it. I seriously doubt if thoes internal polls are wrong. Even Obama is predicting a Hillary victory.
The meida has been lying about Obama's surge. It did not surge at all. Tonight will prove that it is far better to have workers on the ground than millions to spend on Radio and TV.

The BEST thing I saw last night was some information in the crawl line on Fox.
23% of Clinton supporters say they’ll vote McCain if Obama wins the nomination.
16% said they’ll stay home
16% of Obama supporters will vote McCain if Clinton wins
13% will stay home.
If this is representative of people nationwide, the dhimmirats are going to experience a bloodbath this fall (and then the convention will be over, and THEN they’ll lose.)
I can't believe that a Chicago machine crook like Obama didn't know this. More than likely, he figured out that Fast Eddie Rendell controlled the party apparatus and that he could not do business with him, he having been bought and paid for by Mr. and Mrs. Clinton. So he gambled on the ads, and lost big time. You're correct in that he should have invested in "boots on the ground." But in Philly, new boots get stepped on hard.
Also, mature white voters are just not buying the incandescent bullsheep this slick character is selling. My long term bet: The Dems run him as VP, with Al Gore as Presidential candidate. We counter with Condi Rice as McCain's VP.

I always thought "walking around money" was that money paid to the "preachers" and neighborhood "leaders" to get their "flock", thugs, homeless, drunks and derelicts to the polls...
I had no idea they were actually paying the voters a stipend for their effort!
That could get pretty expensive!
John Adams had it right -- but the founders never dreamed such fools and scalawags would ever be granted the vote..
They will pick you and other folks at the house and drive you to the polls. It doesn't really matter if you are registered in some precincts, they'll assign your vote to someone who may have died in '48, but is still on the rolls. They will literally grab people off the street and walk them into ...INTO ... the booth. And if it's a key precinct where the fix is in, they will duke every voter THEY bring in, $5-10-...more if you bring a friend. Food coupons for a sandwich at a local deli, a six-pack, a pint, whatever it takes to get the "vote" out in Philly, they'll do it.
And best not to inquire too closely as to what happens when the ballots are "sealed" and taken to the court house for the official count. "Count," now there's a quaint term, which means something quite different in Philly than it may in other places.
More than sad.... Horrifying.
What is worse - if this is true and KNOWN, is that the offending precincts aren’t “cleaned up” or shut down and excluded from participating in future elections....
Our founders wrongly assumed that Americans would be honorable and DESERVING of the sacred privilege of the vote... John Adams was more correct that he or any of them could have dreamed!
The older I get, the more I learn, the more contempt I have for large numbers of a$$holes calling themselves Americans.
Facing death for us old farts is less disturbing the more we come to realize our America no longer exists...and we have perhaps lived through her golden age.
