But that hasn't stopped officials in thousands of schools across the country from promoting other politically correct and socially "in-vogue" behaviors that - both statistically and manifestly - are every bit as dangerous as the aforementioned frowned-upon behaviors. And this is an abomination.

...Matt Foreman, outgoing Executive Director of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, acknowledged what the medical community has known for decades: the homosexual lifestyle is extremely high-risk and often leads to disease and even death. It's a lifestyle, but not a safe one...

Brer Barber does not know what he is talking about.
How about a day where teachers encourage kids to "embrace who they are," pick up that crack pipe and give it a stiff toke?
You have to hit the crack pipe gently and steadily.
Giving it a "stiff toke" will melt your rock. Duh.

After a gay co-worker died of cancer (colon), I was debated by friends of his about my "intolerant" stand about homosexuality because I pointed out these facts. When I looked them in the eye and told them they weren't being very "tolerant" of my views (especially since they were established facts), they got that "deer in the headlight" look and left. They are tolerant when their views are accepted, and anyone who disagrees in intolerant.
This is why they have to recruit our children, as they are dying out at an alarming rate, and dying badly...

The pro homosexuals will try to argue that smokers inflict their smoke on innocent bystanders, unlike homosexuals, who only hurt themselves with their practices. They need to be reminded of the activitists who are even now agitating for the right to donate blood.

It's time to shatter the silence with truth. "Speaking truth to silence!"
I like that.

In 1985 I was working at PacBell in San Diego and was diagnosed with cancer in July. One of the gay clerks in the San Francisco office had been complaining of being sick and having lots of "night sweats". He was feeling so bad that his former Catholic priest order took him in to convalesce. He died in September. In retrospect, we recognize the illness was AIDS. It didn't have a common name at the time. I had surgery in August. I wasn't aware of the possibility of HIV tainted blood at the time. Fortunately, I didn't end up an unwitting victim of the lack of awareness in the medical community.
The death of Joseph (the clerk) hit everyone in the San Francisco office pretty hard. Once they comprehended the origin of the problem, the potential impact of having large numbers of gay employees was understood. That's when the political correctness edicts and soft peddling of the possibility of passing HIV got started. Thankfully, I left PacBell in 1991 before any of the other gay staff were added to the AIDS death toll.

I would correct only one part of that section of his article. Homosexual sex is 100x MORE dangerous than the afore mentioned behaviors.

They don't inflict it on bystanders? How about each and every parter, of which there are numerous! I would also tell them that the WHO studied the subject extensively, and there is absolutely no truth to the second hand smoke claim. Their study was widely published, but not allowed to see the light of day for the general public.

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.

Dangerous, no doubt, my girlfriend is an RN, and she worked for many years with men in the hospital who could not even hold their feces inside anymore.
And they were in their late 30s and 40s.

I have seldom met the liberal who was tolerant on anyone other than fellow liberals.
It would be as if a Republican walked around proud of being "tolerant" of gun owners. What a hoot.
It's hard to listen to their stuff without laughing - they're unaware of how silly their positions are outside their group-think circle.

Natural selection at work.
It's a freedom issue. It's just a lifestyle choice.

Your article is too long, contains too many polysyllabic words, no catch-phrases suitable for sound bites, and no mention of celebrities.
Therefore, the Sheep will not read it.
