Bardots crimes, such as they are, are straightforward: She has committed the sin of speaking frankly and unapologetically about her countrys hostile Muslim immigrant population and what is evidently worse questioning the compatibility of some Muslim religious practices with Western society. Common sense, one might think, or least subjects fit for fruitful debate.
Her mistake was in thinking that she had the freedom to say so. But as France struggles to control a large (Muslims make up nearly ten percent of the country) and increasingly radicalized Muslim population critics of Islamism are finding themselves more actively persecuted by national authorities than the Islamists themselves.

You had to know that once they started saying “Islamist” there would come an “Islamism.”
I wasn’t too happy about the US Post Office “Eid” stamp, but at least here in the US it’s not a crime to complain about it. Yet. I think...
Bardot is a loopy PETA type, but gutsy.
With this public, there will probably be a price on her head.
It will be interesting to see how this is handled.
yet....
Soon , I have the feeling. Note that France is 10% muzzie.
Areas of the US are more.
This is funny.
Because it is her kind of nuttiness that brought on the multiculturalism that has wrecked France.
True her nuttiness is animal rights, but still all liberals are “birds of a feather”.
The only good that will come of all of this is that France will be wrecked by this nonsense early enough in the game that we have the opportunity to see what our fate will be, possibly in time to do something to stop it in our country.
Brigitte Bardot (eventually) married Bernard dOrmal, whose ties with the top echelon of Jean-Marie Le Pens National Front apparently helped convert her from an annoying animal rights bully (re The Castrated Sexually Harrassing Donkey IncidentDont ask) to an annoying animal rights bully with a neo-Fascist outlook on homosexuals, immigrants and contemporary American foreign policy2as well as Islamic and Jewish3 rites and customs even though, typical of the Muslim Victimization Propaganda Machine, the one point that made the headlines and therefore the Great Google Database in the sky, is her attacking the formers slaughter-fest of Eid-al-Kabir only.
I am all for free speech and think she should be able to say and write what she wishes but she has kinda jumped the shark these days.
Come live in the U.S. Brigitte, We still have free speech here, and we still love you.
Sorry, I meant to address that to the whole room.
Interesting stuff.
But the aging sex kitten turned ultra-right winger should still have the freedom to be a goof.
Precedent is law (actually, it is now the highest of all laws) - so the only question is when, not if. Many within the mainstream of both major political parties are warm to the current language of UN hate-crimes pronouncements, just as they are warm to adopting laws and standards from other nations. As far as the issue of free-speech goes, the political goal seems to be to make sure that it is a particular party-line that is hewed to (and God help those who go against that orthodoxy). This is 'the will'.
"Hate speech" laws are at the gates, and laws regarding "thought crimes" are on the horizon. The sheeple will even consent, I guarantee it.
Pan-islamism, old concept.
The lady has courage and she loves France. The mohammedan rioteers only make mischief in packs, they lack courage and they hate France. For France symbolizes the West, which is freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of conscience. The despicable mohammedan rabble hates us for what is the very best in our culture. Mohammedan culture never freed slaves, never gave the dhimmi’s equal rights and is not going to, never accepts that other people than mohammedans have equal rights at all. Scores of years ago Brigitte Bardot was the most delightful woman to be seen in France, epitomizing the female attractiveness of the Française, and now, much older, she is epitomizing the courage and grandeur of the real France, the France free people love, and God, I love this girl!
Doesn’t anyone follow the rules any more?
There. That's better.
And she aged fairly well, also ...
A little whacky in the PETA dept .... but not dangerously.
I’ve no quarrel with old concepts here. It’s crafting a new (and empty) concept to disguise what you don’t want to acknowledge, that troubles me. Islam is the problem, not Islamism.
Next - Islamismist.
How many muslims are islamist?
I suspect them all.
Islamacistism?
Islamaphobist?
