"Clinton fatigue" narrowing her circle of friends

WASHINGTON — Nancy Larson's most difficult conversation was, by far, the one with Chelsea Clinton.

"It was just heartbreaking," said Larson, a Democratic National Committee member from Minnesota and more to the point, a superdelegate who initially had pledged herself to Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton. This was April 12, after the former first daughter learned Larson would be shifting her allegiance to Illinois Sen. Barack Obama.

"She is a delightful young woman who loves her mother very much," Larson said. "She was really pushing me. She kept asking me why I was doing this. She just kept asking, 'Why? Why?' "

Many in the Clinton camp are asking that question these days, sometimes in conversations far less civil than that one. After nearly 20 years building relationships with a generation of Democrats, Clinton recently has suffered a steady erosion of support for her presidential campaign from the party stalwarts that once formed the basis of her perceived juggernaut of "inevitability."

Kids shouldn’t be involved in politiking for their parents. Hated it when the Bush twins were trotted up on stage and hate it now when Chelsea is hawking her Mom. Stick to the issues and keep the progreny off the airwaves soccer moms be damned.

Translation: If Mom doesn't get elected, Dad won't get anymore lucrative business and Mom will just be a Senator eligible for retirement in two years, good looking albeit unprincipled guys won't pay me any attention and I'll have to get a real job.

Don't have "superdelegates". Assign delegates based on votes received and be done with it. Problem solved.

Note to Mark...
Those relationships were built by Bill and ownership of same is not readily transferable.

The Clintons never built any relationships with anyone. They used and intimidated smart people and threw them under the bus at best, had them whacked as worse case.

The Clintons used incredibly stupid people too. The dumber the better. Craig Livingstone, Webster Hubbel, Janet Reno, Monica, Gerald Ford's daughter, Johnny Chung, etc...

Would not be surprised to see a few ex-Clintonites meet up with an untimely death or accident in the next week or so. The posse needs to be reminded of who is in charge when the lights go out.

"But there is something more wrenching at work, a reckoning of whether the Clintons, on balance, have been good or bad for the party."

As in, Klintoon was given the Presidency, the House and the Senate in '93. By '95 he had lost both houses of Congress and by 2001, all three.

I have suffered from “Clinton fatigue” ever since their dishonest 60 Minutes interview back in the 1992 campaign.

When will they finally GO AWAY?!?

Chelsea, you want to pester people to know ‘WHY’ they don’t support your mommie? Mabye the Bosnia ‘sniper’ lies and the Irish peace talks lies, which YOU know first-hand are lies, pushed some more people over the edge.

I want the Klintoons out too, but remember, the longer she stays in the race, the more damage she does to Obama (i.e. Operation Chaos).

After nearly 20 years building relationships with a generation of Democrats,

Read “building relationships” as = “political IOU’s”

I think they were all used up during the impeachment of Willy.

Off a garbage scow.
I want nothing but doom for them and Hillary's coven. Because Bill Clinton is a traitor who gave the ChiComs military secrets. If he was on fire I would not piss on him
