"Everyone seemed to be happier in the lower players' locker-room. They weren't thinking about the semis or the final and weren't focused just on tennis. They were just happy to be at Wimbledon."
Interesting. I had no idea that there was a Dominican Order in the Anglican Communion.

Amen. I could think of a few girls in Hollywood that I would like to see end up this way.
RE: #29
First of all I’d hit it.
Second of all, it’s a shame that she’s removed herself from the childbearing population. What kind of country will we have in 100 years after only the welfare queens and crack addicts have 4 or 5 kids each and the well educated and socially adjusted folks have none or 2 or less?
I have some friends that work in child services and their stories are incredible. Loser drug or alcohol addicted women having child after child to maximize their welfare payments while college educated, productive, athletic, and socialized women like my wife’s co-workers go childless or have one trophy baby because “It’s too expensive to have children”.
I see a woman like Andrea Jaeger becoming a nun and I say to myself, “well, there goes another good one. What a waste.”
my wife is unable to have children due to medical problems. Any other questions?
the former tennis prodigy explains how her new life in the Episcopalian Church has helped reconcile a past that left her deeply troubled.
I’m confused, how can she be Episcopalian and Dominican? Or are the Dominicans another of those good old traditional orders that in recent years have become so liberal that being Catholic is not required? (Not sarcasm, I’m asking seriously.)

Thank you. I was wondering the same thing.
Great Story.

Perhaps by the word "Episcopal", she was referring to the Episcopal Conference of the Catholic Church. A Google Search on Episcopal Dominican Sisters turned up nothing.

Sorry about your situation. Have you considered adoption? I know it’s very expensive (we’ve looked too because of my medical problems) but there are kids out there who need those loving families.
Bless you in your search!
"her new life in the Episcopalian Church" ??
When did Dominicans become Episcopalians? I am confused. Anybody?

I found this, but I’m still not sure how the Episcopal/Catholic connection came about. I am Catholic and was taught by, among other orders, the Dominicans. Like the clergy referenced on the page below, Catholic Dominicans have OP behind their names. It stands for Order of Preachers (Latin:Ordo Praedicatorum). I was aware that the Anglican/Episcopal Church still shared many things since its break with Rome and Catholicism, but I wasn’t aware of these particular similarities. It’s very interesting.
