Dean is dumb not to let the thing play out. What if something else comes up in Obama’s past or he makes another gaffe...the Super Delegates are the party’s salvation in that case, and if he has them pledge now who’ll they’ll vote for, it takes away any recourse the Dems might have. They may have to resort to Hillary (which could be the case since Obama has not really been vetted and who knows what he’ll do or say...he seems like a loose cannon lately.)
