An increasingly firm Howard Dean told CNN again Thursday that he needs superdelegates to say who they’re for – and “I need them to say who they’re for starting now.”
“We cannot give up two or three months of active campaigning and healing time,” the Democratic National Committee Chairman told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer. “We’ve got to know who our nominee is.”

This is kind of stupid since superdelegates can commit and then change their mind at the convention.
Regular delegates can also, but they’re less likely to do so.

I still can’t believe they are going to choose their nominee without Florida and Michigan. Dean is making a huge mistake: he’s like a runaway freight train heading for the edge of a cliff screaming, “GRYAHHHHH!!!!”
I so glad that the DNC leader is so ineffectual, incompetent and generally worthless, keep him around. ;-)
Sending the message that states which occur late in the primary lineup have no value. All those voters are being disenfranchised by the DNC. The candidate must be chosen well in advance of those primaries.
