We must unite in collective action, build collective institutions and organizations....” don’t forget “collective farming...” that always works pretty well

Obama is a leftist - not a liberal. There's a difference there.

I’m starting to believe he’s a crypto communist.

Hey Obama - if you put your idea of hope and future in one hand and a gun in the other ... see which one is filled up .....

Leftists don’t understand the free market, don’t trust the individual to make good decisions, and love collectivism, but only under their own control.

Yes he did.
But he'll be smart enough to avoid the word “socialist.”
The socialist has to lie to get into office, no rational person would otherwise vote for them.

How about an organization where people come together to achieve a common goal. New members may join by either convincing a current member to share his membership for a mutually agreeable price, or the organization as a whole can allow new members under similar terms.
No, wait, that's called a corporation and thus is EEEEEEEEVIL in Obama's collectivist world.

“In America, we have this strong bias toward individual action. You know, we idolize the John Wayne hero who comes in to correct things with both guns blazing. But individual actions, individual dreams, are not sufficient. We must unite in collective action, build collective institutions and organizations.” Barack Obama, Chicago Reader, Dec. 8, 1995

Really no other word but Communisim describes a belief like this.
Another way to say what Obama said is this:
“From each according to his ability, to each according to his need (or needs).” Karl Marx

Then what is Obama currently doing “oh that’s not what I meant, that’s not what I heard in church, that’s not what I tried to do”.
He’s doing a good job of “hiding” his true character, which, is lieing.

This country did pretty well with individuals working to solve problems and pursuing their dreams. The only time a 'collective' was needed was for the few things government was called to do, i.e. form a military, build interstate road systems.
Of course, people like Obama think government was called to run every aspect of our lives.
After all, us little people in the 'small towns' are too bitter to take care of ourselves.
