Assuming we can keep the leftists from framing the remark their own way (they have explicitly stated they want to focus on the “bitter” portion of the remark rather than the “cling to religion and guns” portion), it should cost Obama the election should he be the candidate.

"The Democratic party has been unfortunately viewed by many people over the last decades as being elitist and out of touch we have waged elections over that you dont have to think too far to remember that good men running for president were viewed as being elitist and out of touch with the values and the lives of millions of Americans.Truer words were never spoken, by someone who is not an elitist, but in fact very very common as in common criminal. Hillary has a story to tell, she is just a common criminal, trying to get her very common criminal family back on top and back in the White House.

In other words Hillary is acknowledging that the people don’t trust the Democrats.

Good. The thought of a whitey-hating, racist empty suit or a megalomaniac, lying socialist in the White House really does not appeal to me anyway.

"You Know..." If Hillary isn't reading a prompter or reciting a memorized speech, each and every sentence starts with "You know..."
How annoying from the Smartest Woman in America.

The Witch is getting desperate. People seem to like Obama regardless of his errors and misstatements. People don't like Hillary. Most people with functioning brains find her highly obnoxious. She is just like Bill. She lies, cheats ad commits crimes at the drop of a hat. Her most dedicated supporters tend to females over the age of 40 and homosexuals.
Demographics prove the perfect Hillary supporter is an aging lesbian who wears pink pantsuits. The soccer moms have all left the field. Everybody is getting tired of Obama v. Clinton primaries. Get out the popcorn, people. The DNC convention will be fun to watch.

"We are at a point in America where need to be bringing people together."Not really, Hillaryous. We need to distance ourselves from liars, crooks, criminals, theives, charlatans, like you, your husband and quite possibly Barack.
In doing so, America's best days are ahead of us.

It amazes me that someone as “articulate” (as Sen. Biden said last year) as Obama would have such a slip of the tongue, unless his deep seated prejudice against such bitter people, that cling to religion, guns, and fear of illegal immigration, is showing. That is whe way I interpret it. Hasn’t he clung to his pastor for 20 years? Aren’t his bodyguards armed? In other words, it’s different when you are “elite” like Obama.

And that’s why we need Hillary to stay in just a bit longer... McCain doesn’t have the guts or the drive to keep up the pressure.

My guess is the people whom Obama insulted wouldn’t vote for him anyway. He could walk in bringing flowers & praising them to the skies & they’ll still turn their backs on him.
Why is why I didn’t even bother reading the rest of Obama’s garbage. Eventually the truth comes out about someone.
