Should Hillary make it to the White House, don't look for Bill to be taking an early turn on the Inauguration Ball dance floor with Nancy Pelosi. Appearing on today's Face the Nation, Madame Speaker made a nasty joke at the former president's expense.
Host Bob Schieffer [who might have experienced some schadenfreude this week with all the talk of Katie Couric being pushed out of the Evening News anchor chair he kept warm for her], asked Pelosi what might have prompted Bill Clinton to resurrect the issue of Hillary's tussle with the Tuzla truth. He had famously chalked it up to the tribulations of a tired 60-year old late at night. In answer, Pelosi sardonically suggested Bill might have had a senior moment of his own.

PELOSI: Well maybe it was late at night when he said it and maybe he should be

Not the kind of late night moment Bill likes ping to Today show list.
I doubt it. Most of Bubba’s late-night adult moments involve some sort of glandular emission.
I guess we shouldn’t call Bill at 3 a.m.
More like gonorrhea of the mouth, which democrats are famous for.
I almost want Hillary to win - so we can see the bodies of the Democratic “establishment” like Kennedy, Pelosi, Richardson et. al. start turning up in dumpsters all across DC and N. Virginia.
re: “late night adult moment”
Was he talking on the phone when he made the latest “mis-statements”???
IIRC, he like to have Monica service him while he was taking phone calls, so who knows what he might say at such moments?
He’ll be better off claiming he had his own senior moments, although none of this is helping the case Shrillary tried to make with her “3 am” ad..... now it seems that either Clinton is subject to bad brain farts at almost any hour.....but we already knew that!
OK, what is an late night adult moment? I think I am logged in... but don’t get this at all.
Pelosi presumably meant a “senior moment” but we’re having fun imagining other things it might be when it comes to Bill Clinton.
What does “other” mean in her statement? “The other .. will be President..”
Mark, does your gluttony for punishment include catching the Chris Matthews show on Sunday mornings? I caught part of it, and didn’t hear any mention whatsoever of the Obama comment that’s been covered on all the other shows. Matthews just can’t stand the fact that his idol may have made a serious faux pas, and maybe couldn’t bring himself to discuss it. Or maybe I just missed it.
The botox has got to her brain. Mme Speaker had a “senior moment” apparently.
“What does other mean in her statement? The other .. will be President..”
It means I messed up the transcription ;-) Thanks for bringing to my attention. It should read: “One of them will be President of the United States. The other will emerge as a great leader and respected leader in our country.”
I probably would watch the Matthews show on Sundays but it doesn’t seem to be on in my area: I’ve looked!
A ‘late night moment’. I don’t care who ya are, that’s funny, right there! Who knew Nancy Botoxosi had a sense of humor?
There will only be one queen bee in the DC hive.
Pelosi outranks the JUNIOR Senator from New York...And has made the history books.
At the present time, Hillary is just the wife of a disgraced President...AND NO MORE.
aND IF SHE WASN'T MARRIED TO Bubba, we'd all be going "HIllary Who?".
Remember also, she ONLY took his name FOR POLITICAL REASONS...
Mrs. Clinton it is...the leach who keeps on taking.
“I take it that Nancy and Hillary are not on good terms.”
Pelosi hasn’t formally endorsed Obama, but she has said the person leading in elected delegates should get the nomination, which almost amounts to the same thing.
All is not sweetness and light in Democrat Land.
” ... the Matthews show on Sundays ... doesnt seem to be on in my area” .. some people have all the luck. It’s rather like a white wine and brie party in Cleveland Park. Everyone agreeing every so knowingly with everyone else, including the token Republican/conservatives.
