Ivy League educations arent what they used to be.They never were what they used to be. Ever hear of "the gentlemam's C?"

I don't see how you can run for president and say common people "cling" to religion out of "bitterness". Really extreme. It does reflect his experience in Rev. Wright's church. Nothing but bitterness there.
To: Biblebelter
which was the best opening she has had in a long time.

Oh, this is big. This will go down in the history books.Obama at a secret meeting of billionaires in that den of inequity, San Francisco, condemning middle America. And his campaign isn’t saying a word- not one word- because they know this could be the death knell of his quest for the Presidency and they’re trying to come up with some story, some explanation for what he said. But it won’t wash. This is bigger than Rev. Wright, because this is actualLy Obama speaking. Obama is through.

This country will not survive four years of that racist liberal looney tune. The endes will never justify the means where that racist jackass is concerned

For me this was the last straw of three..."typical white person", then racist church, now religion and gun rights are only for bitter small town people.
Three strikes, you're out.

I’m not a huge McCain fan, but he may be playing the rope-a-dope strategy here. And letting the Clintoons do the dirty work while Hilly is still in the game.

Are you sure that’s not the proposed NObomba Cabinet?

I don’t belong to an organized political party, I’m a Republican.

It's not arrogant, it's ignorant. IMHO, statements like these are both arrogant and ignorant.

If people in small towns gravitate to religion and people who are like them, what does it say of his big black church?
And the Amish communities in Pennsylvania will probably take special note of his slur on religious faith and exclusive communities.

Barack Obama Friday for reportedly saying residents of small-town America cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who arent like them out of bitterness over lost jobsHmmmmm . . . . . . sounds like profiling, or stereotyping or one of those things that so-called ethnic "minorities" don't like when a white or conservative says it about them.
BUT . . . . . . . it's Obama, so it must be ok. The MSM hasn't lit into him over it.
/sarc
FWIW, I live outside "small-town America" and "cling to my guns" because there are rattlesnakes, wild boar and coyotes around my property and I have a wife and dogs. I also find guns very useful when people I didn't invite come onto my property. The guns encourage them not to stay!
